The information given about one of the plates for the dinner...
The information given about one of the plates for the dinner was inaccurate. The was a 15€ (fifteen Euro!!) for charging a hybrid plug/in Volvo 40XE that takes 8-9 kWh. This exorbitant charge was not informed before chargingh, only at check out.

Wouldnt recommend this hotel. Property tired and shabby ,outside space mesdy. Staff very unengaged. Didnt get the room we wanted but we were told it wasnt available however given we'd booked a month before this does not sound feasible. No staff member in dining room at breakfast. Couldnt even get a decent cup of tea.

As we were travelling from Santander to the Costa Brava it was a great location for a stopover. The evening 3 course meal and breakfast buffet were excellent. The staff were friendly. We found the beds were hard and uncomfortable but that was a personal observation, may suit others. Very quaint hotel with a castle theme. Lovely gardens

Tranquil little village with beautiful countryside and a really pretty river walk. A lovely place to get away from the busyness of driving on the motorways yet just a stone's throw from the main road.

Loved this place, second time of staying.
Loved this place, second time of staying. Feels very much like a castle only difference is the main road outside but once inside its like a different world. Bedroom was great with balcony and bathtub.

We were ok with the bath being in the bedroom but some people might not be so definitely worth checking this when you book. An excellent assortment of toiletries provided. There was plenty of secure parking and the breakfast was exceptional. We definitely have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. The restaurant was also good and the prices were reasonable.
