It seems like nearly every other Spanish beach town.
It seems like nearly every other Spanish beach town. There is an overly-crowded beach in the center with an equally-crowded promenade around it. Once you get a little ways outside the city the beaches are much better and mainly just have locals escaping the "gringos asados" like me. The town is busy and it looks like there is a lot to do. If you like crowds, then you'll love the weekends during the summer. Traffic was a bit nuts on the weekend. Honestly, with so many other amazing places just a few kilometers away, it doesn't make a ton of sense to stay in Sanxenxo unless you really need conveniences like spas and motos de agua rentals. I stayed 4km out of the center and it was a totally different world -- to me, a better world.

cleanliness of town- pavements hosed early every morning, waste bins also emptied daily. cleanliness of cafes- especially the Park at top of hill at end of promenade and their friendliness and politeness. The Mia Casa shop selling "home" bits and bobs - doing their very best to understand our English needs! as did all the supermarkets and Burger King!!! But most of all for the pleasantness of the owners of our apartment,s son Antonio.

Sanxenxo is a hidden gem. We stayed June 8 through 16 and the temperature was cool and comfortable but were not able to go swimming due to the temperature however we walked and had the most beautiful scenery for breakfast and dinner. It was like being in a movie.BarbaraUnited States

Although it is next to the main road, it was quiet, not as busy as the town itself, plus there are double-glazed windows. But first of all, the facility touch of the hotel, the way Vanessa welcomed us, treated us, it has been fully amazing. She made sure I would have special milk for breakfast, even though we arrived late the previous night. Lovely breakfast, super clean rooms, lovely smell in the whole hotel. We loved our stay, it made our trip special.
