From the moment we were collected from the boat, we knew we had made the best decision to stay at Wayalailai. All the staff were super friendly and always ready to go the extra mile - whether playing volleyball, crafting island jewellery and hats, or teaching us about their culture. By far the most welcoming community we visited in Fiji and would 100% recommend to everybody. We loved the food which was such great value and always fresh. The beach was beautiful and cleaned daily by the staff. The reef snorkelling trip was one of the highlights of our entire trip!
Set in a pristine beachfront location on the remote Yasawa Island, Yasawa Homestays provides a beautiful escape. Immerse yourself in Fijian culture with traditional dances, food and village life.

If you’re looking for a remote place, with lovely people to experience Fijis culture, this is the place to be! The people in the village are super friendly and helpful. The island is just pure nature and the food was amazing.

Our extended family loved the location on the Blue Lagoon, the delicious meals. ( No compulsory meal plans 👍) and the activities included cave trip, island hopping, village visit and snorkeling. At night we enjoyed Fiji Meke, Karaoke and crab races.
I also love the day spa and visited 3 times for very affordable treatments.
We definitely would like to return one day.

Nacula (pronounced na-th-ula) is an incredible place to stay. It's the last stop for accomodation on the Yasawa Flyer. It has a home reef you can snorkel at, with plentiful and diverse sea life, including an elusive turtle, and colourful and varied coral. Hiking is available and easy to get to, with trail heads and trail easy to find and follow. There are caves which you can visit and swim in a short boat ride away. The local village allows people to attend the church service at a low cost. It is a wonderful place to rest and rejuvenate.

One of the best weeks of my life.
One of the best weeks of my life. I'm a solo traveller and I'd go back tomorrow. The staff are just amazing and treat you like family, everyone on a first name basis. It is a smaller resort and we got to now each other as it's so chilled and everyone is just relaxed.

The hike over the hill gave perspective and was interesting.
The hike over the hill gave perspective and was interesting. The rooms were spacious and relaxing. The costs were hard to accomodate with only a certain amount of cash in my wallet and no way of topping up. Visiting the village and my kids developing a sense of perspective about how people around the world live was valuable.
