It's not the most historically picturesque of the many competing seaside locations in the south of France but that probably makes it a little less crowded and it is very pleasant with attractive bays offering a lively port, pretty beaches and places to explore plus all the usual shopping and eating facilities. There's a good local train service to many other places along the coast.

There are lovely beaches, it has a lively nightlife and good selection of stalls at the evening market. There are a wide variety of popular restaurants. The marina was attractive and we were able to take a boat trip to the Calanques. Bandol is also a good base for visiting both Toulon and Cassis.

Charming harbour town with nice shops and huge variety of restaurants serving everything from excellent seafood to pizzas. Favourite restaurant on the promenade - La Marine. Bouillabaisse superb as were prawns, bulots, wines etc etc. Busy but comfortable.
The bay at the back of the hotel had a lovely sandy beach, popular at weekends but tolerable, and water like a giant swimming pool with gentle sandy slopes into the sea, Seems very safe.
Fantastic location, great views from our room with balcony and sea views. We loved the relaxed unpretentious charm of the place. The hotel has an interesting history and we liked the 1970s decor and features. Renecros Beach is only across the road and the back door is kept open for easy access to and from the beach. The parking onsite is very handy, especially in high season. A kitchenette in the room made our stay easier as we were travelling with our kids.
location is superb, i.e. 30 meters from the beautiful beach, hotel is more of a Motel 6 with everything very basic. It would have been totally fine if the room did not cost $ 273 a night. The value for the room with 1-ply toilet paper dispenser usually reserved for the train stations and public bathrooms and yellow stains on the ceiling is much less in my view. The towels did appear tired as well.
Easy to find on seafront, part of a building housing other apartments.
Rooms were a good size.

The food at lunch time in the simple beach side restaurant was excellent. The owners were totally focused on keeping their guests happy.
I had a double room with a terrace with a fantastic view over the sea. My room was big with a double bed and a single bed. The room is basic and I did not order breakfast but you get wi fi and air conditioning. I booked the hotel as it was on the beach and for its views which were brilliant
Great location, our room with terrace and views of Bendor and Bandol port was particularly pleasing. Sunrise and sunsets stunning.
