Barentin is typical small French town.
Barentin is typical small French town. Lots of statues and a pretty river runs through it. Big campsite. Couldn't find any restaurants unless you want pizza or kebabs but there is a huge commercial centre at the to of the hill.

The breakfast was great.
The breakfast was great. Excellent choices served in a lovely bright modern dining room. Staff were very good too. Very convenient situation for Dieppe ferry - only 33 miles away. Our room was adequate but bed uncomfortable and noisy. Toilet would not flush (but was fixed when we reported the problem) 3 cracks in wash hand basin 2 lights not working. Floor not particulary clean on one side of bed. Luckily we were there for only one night.

There was a problem in the room - the toilet didn't flush - so we had to wait for the poor receptionist to make up a room for us. For some reason none of the other rooms available had been cleaned. That wasted about 45 mins hanging around. By the time we got into the second room we were too tired to go out to eat. Breakfast was ok. Location close to the motorway.

Clean room, quite location. Buffet breakfast is probably not a 3-start Michelin thing but good for its price (better than an average hotel breakfast in France).
