Close to the Casino bus stop (for accessing the train). Close to the port and eateries.
We were assigned a room on the lower floor with a balcony facing the back - which was good given our luggage and for noise reduction.
Staff were generally friendly and helpful. The reception staff (evening shift) kindly helped arrange a taxi to get to the Port Miou Calanque early in the morning to see the calanques.

A lovely resort accommodation has to be in the port area, suites 23 is a steep twenty minute walk from the port. Also communication at that property with the host is primarily through Google translator app as her English is limited. Small, many restaurants, some good walking but essentially just a great place to hang out and chill. Choose the restaurants in the back alleys, much better. Accommodation looking at the sea is best but book early.

Great stay overall. The apartment is exactly as described, super clean and well equipped. The parking for the apartment, is however, not adjacent to the their property, but a short walk away. And the apartment itself is super well located, a few minutes walk from the beach on a pedestrian street next to restaurants and the port. Cassis itself is a lovely town, with many good dining options-- we especially liked Le Grand Bleu--and it's very close to the Calanques and a short drive from several vineyards if that's your thing. Honestly, wished we had planned a longer stay!Raynor

Check out at 11.00 gives plenty of time for a swim in the morning at the beach across the road. Breakfast choice was good and I was especially pleased to find non dairy milk options available. We walked into Cassis centre a number of times and it took about 30 minutes (which was fine but uphill on the way back). There are cheap buses (approx 90 cent single ticket) that takes you to the town centre and back. It’s also possible to take a bus for a similar cost close to the Calanques.
