The location is staggeringly good. Such a surprise when we arrived: 14 tall stone crosses lined the approach road, and then the views! Amazing.

The hotel is a little dated but comfortable and in a good position very close to the pedestrianised centre of Dole. Our room and bathroom were a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a simple breakfast in the bar of the hotel for €8.
Because of roadworks the hotel’s parking was inaccessible but there is a public parking area across the road which is free. Spaces were in short supply but we managed to find parking there which was very convenient. We ate at Le Grévy, next door and had an excellent meal.

The restaurant has a Michelin star and everything is geared to the perfect culinary experience. Our room was exceptionally large and comfortable, the pool and views delightful and the staff simply couldn't do enough for us.
