The location is fantastic I travel abroad by motorcycle and always spend my last night here I’ve stayed many times. The channel tunnel is about 10 minutes away so easy access
Very handy location as wanted somewhere to stay after...
Very handy location as wanted somewhere to stay after crossing through the euro tunnel very late at night. Fitted the bill perfectly as a place to stopover before heading further into Europe after a good sleep. Very comfy bed. Bathroom a bit basic and plastic but overall a very good hotel for the price.

Coquelles is a small group of housing and industrial units between Calais proper and Sangatte. It is not a place to visit for tourists, you need a car, although Calais and Sangatte are a only stiff walk away.

Didn’t spend enough time to give a helpful review.
Didn’t spend enough time to give a helpful review. We ate at the Poivre Rouge. Staff very nice but the steak my wife had was the most overpriced piece of meat I have ever seen. The steak - butchers cut - is in the photo. It cost €15.50 on its own!!

We have previously visited just to go through the Tunnel.
We have previously visited just to go through the Tunnel. Time on our hands this time, meant that we could visit some of the beaches. Those at Sangatte were truly lovely and well worth spending a day or more at. Coquelles itself has a good supermarket, restaurants etc, so worth breaking the journey there and preparing either for an excursion further into France, or the trip back home. And if you have time, Cap Gris-Nez is also lovely!

The hotel and ones next to it has a large police presence and many police vehicles in the car park making it feel very safe and secure. The location is perfect for the tunnel and shopping, where it is quite basic it suits well for an overnight stop.
Staff friendly and efficient.
Furnishings a little tired.
The lovely staff who allowed me to practise my French and provided us with a fan to cool the room and gave us advice about the Eurotunnel. I also liked the food and the cleanliness. Very comfortable room too.
On the way back from the uk we were delayed and couldn't get to our hotel further south on time so we came back here on the offchance. There wasn't a room available but the reception staff rang another hotel in Calais and got us a room there, which was also very nice. That is going above and beyond. What a service!!
We had an unforeseen over night stop at this hotel in Calais due to our animal health certificate being incorrectly filled in by vets in Florence. So we had to re-administer our dog the correct worming tablet abd had to wait 24 hours before we could re-enter UK. The hotel was very clean, and handy for Le Shuttle. The late check out of 12 o clock was also handy for us. Breakfast was good. Nice sized room. Good value
We had food delivered to our room as our daughter had to be out to bed and it was exceptional! Very tasty with quality ingredients. We hope to come back and eat in the actual restaurant next time. Room was perfect and the travel cot was all set up for us.
Stayed an overnight on our way home from the south of France.
Hadn't used this hotel before but will absolutely use it next time rather than our usual one,
Excellent room, staff, and so dog friendly.
We will be back :-)
Excellent hotel, great staff, very friendly and professional. Room big enough for two persons and a Bernese mountain dog, dog welcome at the bar and in the restaurant. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent value. Will come back.
Location was good, room for disabled was good, evening meal really nice and good breakfast,we had our dog with us and we had no problem at the hotel, all staff very helpful,we have stayed there before and will stay again
Location next to Eurotunnel is ideal. Two star accommodation more than adequate for us. B&B hotels have 3 and 4 star accommodation next door if that is what you require.
It was very close to a large shopping mall, and also close to restaurants. We needed somewhere close to the Eurotunnel, and this location made it easy to get there.
We did not have breakfast.
The hotel is very convenient for us as we travel through France.
Unfortunately the mattress is too hard for a good night sleep.
Quick and easy check in even late at night. Secured parking space very close to Calais Eurotunnel which is exactly what I was looking for. Value for money.
The staff were amazing!! It was just 5 mins from the Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais, it’s so close to many amenities. Breakfast was fabulous too!
