Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The couple who run it were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The house is beautiful and stylishly decorated. Our room overlooked the garden, which was a show-stopper. We were encouraged to explore the garden in our own time, take in the orchard, relax on the lounges, look for frogs in the pond. I really didn't want to leave - we even gave up some sightseeing in the morning just to enjoy relaxing in the garden after breakfast! The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel! The jams were made with fruit from the garden and it seemed endless! Coffee, eggs, yogurt, melon, pastries - all presented beautifully with a view of the garden and tower behind. The coffee was exceptional. I can't wait to stay again - I want all my friends and family to experience this magical place. It was also incredibly conveniently located, with free parking just across the road and the spa a 15 minute walk away. All restaurants and cafes are just around the corner so you walk out the door and start exploring right away.
