a strange village... small with not many facilities.
a strange village... small with not many facilities. The best is to head straight to Pezenas which is much more beautiful and with more services. The only thing we loved is the small boulanger (which is not the most famous one) Montagnac is anyway close to Marseillan and Sète.
A family run hotel where service counts. We appreciated a warm welcome and kind, caring service where nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a relaxed overnight stay with an excellent evening meal and breakfast. Fresh local produce like black olives, sheep yoghurt and home made jam. Easy access and secure parking. Large bed in a spacious room. Simple comfort but worked very well for us.
We asked for a taxi to take us to a nearby wedding and the Hotel Owner insisted on taking us for a small fee as she said a taxi would be too expensive. My partner left her charging equipment in the room and they called us so we could retrieve it.
Nice hotel at a beautiful place. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We arrived far after closure of the reception and we got the chance to check in ourselves into the room which was already prepared for us. We had a great stay.
