Out by Lasbordes Airport is Cité de l’Espace, a space-themed amusement park, particularly suited to young children. It is so easy to get around. As expected, it feels more like a "real life city" than the craziness of Paris. More French people than tourists from 'all over'. It was busy in the shopping areas and restaurants, but it did not feel over-crowded.

Toulouse is a large and very vibrant city, with plenty of art, architecture, history, and music. We go for the opera, and I have not taken an opportunity to explore beyond the Place du Capitole. When going out from the hotel I had the feeling I was already in someone else’s way like a pedestrian or even a car. At the same time , I was next to a restaurant table and trash containers. Beware of dog poo everywhere. Overall I found this city to be quite dirty and not taken care of properly. The things I liked were the historical places like the convent, the churches and the capitole. It is also nice to see small businesses supporting local artists and artisans.

Beautiful city - lovely historic buildings and the river and canal walks were excellent. Great selection of places to eat and drink and the city citizens were friendly and welcoming. Was great to see how many people used non fossil fuel forms of transportation and the public transport was super efficient and inexpensive

The room was clean, the AC worked well in the warm weather and the kitchen was reasonably well stocked. The bathroom and bedroom were quite large and there was lots of natural light. My part of the hotel seemed fairly quiet. I can't speak for those staying closer to the fairly busy road on which it is located. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is conveniently located to the metro and generally pretty close to the centre of Toulouse.
