The price was OK, but it is in a light industrial area, beside two other budget hotels, and apart from the price, had nothing much to offer.
Must admit: the light was bright, so it was easy to read at night.

Nothing to see. It is a cozy small town without any interesting place. The center has some bars which are open after 19:00 but are expensive and low quality. The unique place you may like is a big park clise to river.

We loved the proximity of the hotel to the old part of town.
We loved the proximity of the hotel to the old part of town. There was convenient parking which led 1) to Penny Kenny's Irish pub (v. friendly) which was across from a magnificent city park, complete with a grand gazebo; then 2) loads of beautiful shops; then 3) many sweet little narrow streets with cafés, atmosphere of genuine conviviality and terrace drinking. What a friendly town. All so close to the Novotel Valence Sud, where we stayed.

Valence is a lovely place to come and stay for a few days or a few weeks. The town has lots of great restaurants and the cafe scene is quite good. I did find the number of SDF people so homeless quite alarming. They were harmless but there were a lot. As soon as it gets dark, they don't seem to hang around. Valence is a great staging point for the Vercors mountains and as a stay over into the Ardeche. We come to Valence regularly and really like it. There are some great little artisan places particularly along the Rue Des Alpes just going out of town. Try the Vallon bakery and the Epicurieux coffee and beer place...just amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is really tastefully decorated creating a truly art deco fill without being literal, such a rear occasion! The flat is located on the ground floor which made it easy to carry the luggage and it was possible to access the building from the courtyard, not just from the street, which was super convenient with the car. The place is super close to the walking part of the city and we loved walking around Valence. Checking and check-out was smooth, so would absolutely recommend this place.
The room was incredibly comfortable, excellent size with an extremely comfortable bed and one of the best hotel showers I have experienced. The location is great, on the edge of the old town which is a couple of minutes walking and should you chose to eat at Maison Pic, this is also accessible by walking. The staff were extremely friendly and breakfast was lovely. Note - there is a station across the road from the hotel, this is the local station and not the one you arrive at via the TGV, that one is outside town.
We booked the room short notice and arrived past 11 pm.
The hotel has a free parking lot. Much appreciated.
We enjoyed breakfast very much. Croissants are delicious and so is baguette bread. Besides, the hotel has a machine to boil eggs yourself, so that you can boil them just the perfect time for you. The quality of the eggs was impressive.
beautiful! the pictures don’t do it justice. the design is fresh and modern! what a beautiful hotel for a great price. walkable to cute bakeries and cafes too! the staff were also amazing! I couldn’t recommend this place more!

The restaurant was fantastic.
Being able to order and receive a 'real' expresso from the bar in the morning was a delight and something I miss in many hotels today. Thank you!
Very good location in the center of Valence next to the cathedral and museum of Valence. Secure bicycle storage in locked room. Very close to numerous good restaurants.
