The room was a nice size, really comfortable, and well stocked (tea, coffee, plenty of milk, iron and ironing board, heaters etc). Great location, right on the seafront. Walking distance from Boscombe and Bournemouth. 20% off of food if you're a resident.

I loved the Elstead Hotel! It is a great, traditional British seaside hotel with friendly staff, a huge and well-appointed room (214) and a tasty breakfast. The room had a fridge, a sofa, a table and chairs, a desk and a large wardrobe. The bathroom was dated but really good quality and clean. The hospitality tray had decaf coffee and little tea pots. There was an iron and board as well as the ubiquitous trouser press. With a kitchenette, the room would have been a studio flat to live in! And the big, fluffy towels were a touch of luxury. Breakfast was just right, in my view. There were limited options but this meant what there was, was done very well, with no faff. The cooked breakfast was tasty and the cereal choice was extensive.
