Great Hotel in a lovely location away from the nearby roads. The service was exceptional from everyone - front desk, room service and restaurant staff. It was lovely to see such welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic staff.
The room was lovely with lots of space and a huge bed and nice facilities.
The breakfast was also great with a good choice of buffet food as well as a good selection of hot food to order - all using a selection of local produce which is nice to see.
We didn't get a chance to use the pool or spa facilities but we did get a quick tour of them and they look fantastic and will definitely make use of them on a return trip.
Highly recommended from Leisure and Business Trips.

I only use Bridgend as a stopover as I could not find reasonably priced room in Cardiff that was in a safe area for a woman travelling alone. There was a big football match and concert on in Cardiff that Tuesday night and that is why I booked further afield as there was very little choice in my price range available.

I can only comment on Days Inn (where we stayed) as we were visiting family and didn't spend any time in Bridgend. The location was quiet, the room was clean and the staff were friendly. The bed was very good quality and we had a good night's sleep. The only downside was that there was nowhere nearby to have breakfast.
What an absolute cracker of a hotel and restaurant, from the moment you arrive the staff great you with a friendly hello and you feel welcomed.
The room was super clean and comfortable.
The bed was probably the best one I've slept in for some time and a huge shower with plenty of hot water.
My god, the food in the restaurant is amazing. That alone is worth 10 stars.
When I'm back in that area, I'll be a repeat client. Well done to all the staff there.
Very much you get what you pay for. It's a Spoons hotel and it was near to where I needed to be the next morning so location was the main selling point.
Shower was a lot better than I expected, and as the rooms are above the pub, I was able to stop for a cheap drink in the evening and a full English the morning I checked out. Staff were super friendly and helpful and couldn't fault them at all.
Lovely little cottage near Bridgend. The property is wonderfully finished to a really good specification. Had a warm, cosy feel about the property with internal stonework, log fire and ceiling beams. We booked for Easter weekend and arrived to Easter cakes which was a nice touch by the host. We would 100% recommend the property, and will certainly be returning in the future.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to change to a double room due to a booking error but was fine for us. Lady in reception was very helpful when asking about local area and made us feel welcome immediately. Room was very clean, and fit our expectations. Outlets nearby also a plus.
The decor of our room was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the quality of the bed linen was excellent. The Old house has such charm and history and the modern areas have been tasteful done in keeping with the building. the staff were really friendly and welcoming.
Howard is an outstanding host, always charming, friendly, with nothing too much trouble. The room was great; large, huge bed, lovely bathroom. Great breakfast and an excellent location for the area. Couldn't have been better and we could have happily stayed much longer.

The cottage is in a good location for exploring the south Wales coast and is well equipped.
The outdoor seating area and garden were a bonus.
