Room was roomy but a little bright as we only had venitions and there was a light right outside.
Breakfast was just what we wanted.

I made a mix up whilst booking, the owner of the hotel telephoned me in person the next day to reassure me dates could be changed and not to panic. She even very kindly threw in a room upgrade. The Customer Service was excellent and the hotel and location were fab too, as was the big breakfast!

Good location with parking not too far away. Good large bathroom, good shower. Handy cafe underneath the property with good selection of food and drinks. Helpful greeting allowing us to dump our bag before check-in.

Gorgeous setting on a large, bustling working estate full of history, character and energy. Add a pub and you wouldn’t want to leave. Wish we had more time there.
