Good value for money and child friendly. Given the high footfall of children there were more stains in the carpet than I would have liked, but it wasn't that off putting. I would stay again but not eat at the pub.
Situated 10 minutes’ drive from Portsmouth town centre and South Downs National Park, The Roundabout Hotel offers an on-site 70-seater restaurant and rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Amazing property. Oli, the owners’ son was lovely and helpful. I don’t know what we were expecting but this property exceeded our expectations and I can understand the high ratings. So spacious and clean, with two bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen, plus the gardens, we loved it. Wish we had booked it as a base for a week to explore Hampshire. We were only passing through so just staying the one night.

Strange.
Strange. The town had all the shops and amenities, and particularly coffee shops, pubs and food outlets, but the town was quiet throughout all of 2 weekdays. Its a nice enough place but seemed deserted, even inside the shopping centre.
Waterstones book store seemed to have a very different range of books on British/Foreign history than its other locations, and I could have stayed there for hours. Fareham Library is also well equipped with reference material on local history. Though much of the town has been rebuilt or had new facades, and its past is vanishing.
Boy, that train station is a long walk away from the town centre !
Would recommend the Golden Lion for food/drink and conversation.

Fareham is a lovely old unspoilt example of georgian houses and buildings, interlaced with newer builds along the high street. It has a lovely atmosphere and is well worth a visit, as you can easily drive down to the local historic dockyards and go to the only Hovercraft museum in the world.

Fareham has plenty of shops, cheap pubs and eateries.
Fareham has plenty of shops, cheap pubs and eateries. It's an ideal situation for us to stay as we have family in Fareham, Hamble Le Rice and Hayling Island. Wickham is a lovely village just 10 minutes drive away and a bus runs there from Fareham. Wickham has great parking and lovely shops and eateries, would recommend a visit.

Like most small towns Fareham has suffered a little over the years with some of the bigger shops now gone and that has had a knock of effect. I used to live in Fareham until I retired some 7 years ago but do get back from time to time .it’s location makes it ideal as an access point to Southampton, Portsmouth and the south coast and the New forest.

Great situation near shops and public transport.
Great situation near shops and public transport. Hotel and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening meals I had very generous portions and well cooked.
Couldn't get WiFi which was restricting and difficult to contact people, although lady in Reception tried to help. No lift to the higher floors and no person available to help with luggage.

A pity that the wedding guests filled up lounge area.
A pity that the wedding guests filled up lounge area. So nowhere’s to sit
Also lots of little children running about and screaming without supervision whilst eating our meal
Very off putting
Restaurant staff said happens regularly and disturbs diners
Breakfast was great except it wasn’t included but that didn’t matter to me as my kids ate free so that made it great value, it was a very good selection of foods and nice that covid had been taken into account - Individual portioned our items which were all quality and a great selection.
Nice clean bright fresh foyer and seating area inside foyer.
Good amount of hangers in the room - that is always a problem when I stay in hotels but this hotel was good for that.
It appeared to be clean.
Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food. We were given table service and the staff were friendly. The children loved the use of the pool which is a very good size and it was clean. The spa facilities are lovely too. The children loved the bunk beds and the bonus was their very own gowns ‘very important little people’. The location of the hotel is excellent, with amenities on your doorstep and both Southampton and Portsmouth less than half an hour away.
The flat is very cozy, clean, nicely presented. Inside there are two bedrooms. One with en-suite shower room. There's also a separate bathroom with a bathtub. There's double bed, twin beds, and a sofa bed. It is very conveniently located in the lovely town of Fareham, near Portsmouth. Very close to the town center and a motorway. lots of free parking on site. The flat has everything you need and has nice green views. Highly recommend.
The break first was very nice good tasting food only drawback was the bathroom was on the small side and the tv was tiny too but on the whole the hotel is warm and the staff are really friendly and you are about 15 minutes away from the town in fareham if you walk it by car probably 8 minutes we had a pleasant stay there free car parking is a bonus also
Good for a night's stay. Comfortable bed with large tv and wifi which actually worked. Also reasonable size car park. I booked this as we were on our way back from Hampshire and wanted to visit Portsmouth. Everywhere else was ridiculously priced because of Goodwood. Would use again for an overnight stay.
enclosed off street car park at the back of the hotel! i was worried about my van as vans are a target for thieves but i was relieved when i arrived .
staff were amazing, good selection of beers at the bar. food was nice and promptly served.
room was spotless and bed really comfortable.
Booked this Hotel as we were going on a cruise from Southampton Docks. Room and service very good. We had an evening meal and the food was very nice and tasty. Breakfast was excellent. Full English and all the trimmings. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely use again.
Lovely house in a beautiful location, lovely warm and friendly. Bedroom is the same size as my first house. Garden is great to walk around and it's so quiet. Great for Southampton or Portsmouth. I would recommend this to all my friends and am booking again myself.
Hotel is in a great location in Fareham with good ample private parking. The bar and garden was a great place to relax and the food quality was great at breakfast.
Room was comfortable and plenty of tea/coffee items as well. Would stay here again.
Nice hotel. Staff friendly. Leisure facilities are good. Hotel very clean. Room spacious,.
Been there twice, and food was good. Breakfast plentiful.
It is near M27 so great for us coming back to Brighton after a visit to Southampton
Very nice sized apartment in a good location for Fareham Rail Station and town centre. Very helpful pre-visit instructions from the owners. I only stayed for 2 nights but the flat is well equipped for a longer stay.
The location was excellent, only about a 2 minute walk from the town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel food options were wide ranging and tasted great (good value for money too).
Clean and neat. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Great restaurant and bar attached centrally located in Fareham within walking distance of all shops, train station, and bus station.
Very quiet location with just a little train noise. Two blocks from the supermarket. Easy access to the sights of Portsmouth and the Roman villa. Good internet. Nice shower.
Very new hotel and therefore room was clean and in good condition. Family room was a good size. Good pub on site serving food and drinks. Staff were helpful.
