Lymington is charming, historic and a lovely Georgian Town.
Lymington is charming, historic and a lovely Georgian Town. Not having the big chains means there are lots of independent varied outlets. The pub food is always amazing wherever you go and The Haven restaurant is awesome !

Lymington was a great place to visit, it had a real energy and buzz about it. The shops were good, seemed like quite a few independent shops and the charity shops had some quirky items in them, too. The Saturday market exceeded my expectations and was really interesting. The marinas were popular with visitors and it was nice to sit in the sunshine to watch the ferry to the Isle of Wight docking and leaving. Some really nice café and deli places to visit and a host of interesting pubs to sample local ale and gins.

A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques.
A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques. We enjoyed lovely walks around the harbour and along the flats, we could have walked for hours. Great local ice cream and a gluten free flapjack shop - Flapjackery. So good we went back the next day!
The location is close the new forest and an easy drive from home, it’s the first trip for family (the second for me, the previous trip with the girls) and we will certainly return.

Lymington is the perfect place for a few days by the sea.
Lymington is the perfect place for a few days by the sea. Lots to watch, from boats to birds. A friendly little town on the edge of the New Forrest with ferries to the Isle of Wight and a large nature reserve with plenty of footpaths to walk.
Great place to stay. Tobi was very welcoming. My wife really enjoyed the comfortable lounge were she read and relaxed after our days out. The best breakfasts I have ever had, and I do enjoy my full English Breakfasts. Ideal location within very easy walking distance of the train and ferry and also the high street with lots of really good shops and places to eat. Would definitely try to stay there if I was going to the New Forest area again. Lymington is a really wonderful destination with so much to do in the locality.
Sea view and very clean bathroom and bedroom. The lighthouse restaurant is below the hotel and staff and food very nice. Our host told us where to eat and how to access the footpaths. Great location to walk into the village of Milford on Sea that has many places to eat and drink.
A short walk to Key Haven along the sea wall and a longer walk to Lymington also along the beautiful sea wall path. A short drive to the New Forest for miles of walking. Excellent location.
Beautiful building with traditional features and in an ideal location- easy walk to Lymington high street.
The whole place was clean and welcoming. The room was immaculate, with a modern clean bathroom, and even a dressing room. The bed was so comfortable with the softest sheets. Tea and coffee was provided with fresh milk and the hosts were so attentive. Breakfast was delicious.
So so impressed and would love to come back.
The location of this apartment is perfect. Not the easiest to find, but this was a repeat visit for us and our friends. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything you could want. It is above a shop on Lymington High Street. So close to restaurants, water front and for ease of visiting places in the surrounding areas. Two car parking places are available which is a bonus. Thoroughlly recommend.
The rooms out in the gardens are quiet and spacious. The hotel is very nice as are the leisure facilities and all within walking distance to the ferry terminal for the IOW. Taxi's are none existent but the train at the Ferry Terminal is so easy and one stop to the bottom of Lymington high street.
Very cosy, great location with Lymington High Street on the doorstep. On holiday with my elderly Mother, I enjoyed the close proximity of the pubs & restaurants which were in walking distance, so little need for the car or taxis. Good car parking scheme.
The house is charming and very comfortable. Everything is catered for. It is tastefully decorated and a very relaxing place to stay The location is perfect in the centre of town and there are magnificent views over the harbour .
Location, staff, nicely equipped room, good menu and excellent food, lots of outdoor seating and a top priority for us - South Lawn is so dog friendly.
The doggie exercise paddock is a big bonus.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Tobias is a fantastic host, his hotel is close to everything Lymington has to offer. He was always able offer recommendations on things to do and places to eat and his breakfasts get the day off to the perfect start.
Fabulous hotel and grounds with lawns sloping down to the Solent. Wonderful outdoor pool. Superb gym & spa. 1k walk into Lymington & edge of New Forest. Excellent parking, family friendly. Small par 3 golf course
room was very good.,very comfy bed.nice view of the high street.location was excellent, close to all shops and restaurants.would highly recommend this hotel.we have already booked another stay here very soon.
The location is great only just round the corner from The Bosuns Chair which is our favourite pub in Lymington. The bed was very comfortable. We managed to park nearby for the whole week of our stay.
Perfect location for ferry then train with a lovely walk up Lymington High Street to reach our friends' place. Lovely grade planted with lavender and very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious.
Lymington Yacht Haven Marina is a stunning location and the boat is fantastic.
Perfect accommodation for a 2 night stay, much better facilities than a hotel.
Thank you Boatels!
