As a last minute emergency hotel room due to a mistake, it was perfect! We were glad we could get something so last minute for a decent price. All the staff were really lovely and the food in the pub as very tasty! Bed was comfy and we slept well. The area is also very convenient to get to from the motorway and is also very pretty! Would definitely consider staying again next time we visit.
Lymm was not new to us as we have family living close by.
Lymm was not new to us as we have family living close by. Lovely Cheshire village with a village cross and stocks but quite hilly in all directions. Nice walks along The Bridgewater Canal and The Trans Pennine Trail. Few nice shops and small supermarket (bigger one close by). Eateries and coffee shops in village.
Easy access from M6 motorway.

Lymm is a lovely relaxed , what I call a market town". Has relaxed chilled out coffee & cake shops. Has more than its fair share of pubs, which is no bad thing. Their is an outstanding bakery (5th Generation) and a must in my book to visit. Stunning canal waterway with a regular flow of narrow boats. Near by are a wide range of attractions. For ourselves their are a number of highlights. National Trust, Dunham Massey, Lyme, Speke hall and Quarry Bank, which is a large scale industrial textile building with waterwheel. If you have an interest in science or space. Then Jodrell Bank, which is just awesome and if you have children they have an outstanding hands on learning experience , well worth a visit.

Lymm is a fantastic little place, several restaurants and pubs all within a stones throw of the centre (& I mean a stones throw) There is a canal, river and reservoir to walk around/along.
I recommended this place to my own sister & her family before they flew out of Manchester and it is now a must stay for them too.
Best kept secret I have found in a long while, thinking of taking the wife for a long weekend.
Close to Trafford centre (less than 20mins)

Lovely village.
Lovely village. Good restaurants. 18 the cross was a great meal and Sextons bakery served a good size breakfast. Yummy. Picturesque houses, buildings and canal setting. Stunning building Lymm water tower. Worth a look.
We booked this room on the day as our previous booking at a nearby hotel hadn’t received our reservation and we were stranded. I was able to contact the hosts to check the room would be ready for us. They were so friendly and helpful and messaged over the check in instructions. We arrived half an hour later to the most beautiful room, it’s so spacious and light. The bed was really comfy and bathroom a decent size also. I couldn’t fault the room and the fact it was located inside the town with everything within walking distance
Host agreed to set the code to one that was personally memorable for an elderly couple. Wonderful service and made it so convenient and less worrying. Cottage itself was delightful. Lots of space and comfortable seating downstairs, dining table and large spacious kitchen The cottage was spotlessly clean, and were greeted on arrival with coffee/tea/biscuits which was very welcome. Very convenient for a short walk into the lovely Lymm village and along the canal. Also easy driving distance into Knutsford, Arley etc.
Stayed Friday 26th to Monday 29th May for Neighbourhood Weekender Festival.
Extremely clean, beautiful and modern 2 bedroom apartment. The back garden is gorgeous and it's a proper little sun trap! We were also provided with everything we could possibly need.
Really comfortable and spacious, and Olivia who greeted us was extremely helpful and friendly. Located right in the centre of the lovely village of Lymm. We will 100% be returning in the future!
lovely, clean room in a great location, great place to stay very local to plant of nice places to eat and drink. Very close to the Bridgwater canal and Lymm dam if you like walking. have stayed here before and will definitely stay again.
Hosts were very responsive, looked after all well. The property was within walking distance of the heart of Lymm village and its shops, pubs and more. It was well heated and warm when we arrived, much appreciated!
The location was great. The roof terrace was the best asset.
The host 'Olivia' was really nice and helpful.
It did give us a nice base to get on with things. Lymm was lovely with nice shops and restaurants.
Gorgeous apartment, well fitted out, modern, perfect for our needs. Lymm is also a really nice town/village. Plenty of places to eat. Olivia was a fab host too.
