    My hostile was close to a beach that starts with cocoa and I decided to pop out there to see what the beach was like. I was not disappointed! It was beautiful. The park around the beach was nice as well. Plenty of shaded places to stay for families that might want to have a picnic or something like that. I heard that there was a space station nearby, and I would have liked to see that, but French Guyana is very expensive. The people were lovely though! And very helpful. If I had not planned on were travel after work, I would have spent another day in Kourou.
