Zadar is a very nice city on the Adriatic sea with all the facilities you need. The old town is really marvelous. We will surely returm to Zadar and apartments Basioli. We were very satisfied with the apartment and the friendly and helpfull owners.

Brilliant city, we only had a few days and wished we had longer. I’d say you need a car to get around but because we didn’t need to use public transport I can’t really comment on how good it is. Loads to see and do, went with a young family and they loved the sea organs!

Zadar is such a gem, I cannot recommend this city enough. I visited in early April and the weather was fantastic but there were not many tourists so that was a positive. All shopkeepers, waiters, and people in hospitality/tourism I spoke with were all so friendly. She arranged a tour to Plitviče National Park where a shuttle picked me up from the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding and delicious! The room was simple but equipped with air conditioning which was a life saver after a long day of hiking and sight seeing. The rooms are about 25 minutes walking to get to the old city or a cheap Uber ride. Overall, fantastic experience!KimGermany
