It was nice stay in Mango Tree Homestay. The place is little far off from Hospet but really close to the archeological sites of Hampi. Also if you wany a quite stay in a homely environment it is the perfect place to be. The owner also helps with necessary tips and arrangements for sightseeing. Homemade breakfast and coffee we really liked most. The restaurant facility of the owner although Vegetarian but of really good quality.

It was an amazing experience.
It was an amazing experience. We went for Holi and it was worth it. The only pain point was the weather. It was too hot so I would definitely recommend you go either during monsoon or post that. Apart from that the landscape is very unique and beautiful.

Hampi is a very special place even if you just want to watch the sunrise or the sunset, however it alot more to offer with the history of the city. I fully rec
ommend you hire a qualified guide for the day it costs around 2500/3000 but well worth it otherwise your just walking around ancient sites not knowing what it all was. It's very spread out so you need transport, scooters tuktuk taxi. Alot is free but some places you need to pay it costs 600 which lets you into 3 of the locations. The temple elephant goes down to the river for its daily bath which is a good experience as you can get in the river near to it. Just enjoy it

The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable.
The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable. We benefitted from being adjacent to this in the Temple View Hotel in the bazaar area. The museum and main palaces are a must, made more pleasant and achievable on the heat by engaging an auto rickshaw driver at an agreed rate for the day( suggest 1,500 rupees for the day) Chill out bamboo was our favourite eating and cool drink location.

Nobody will tell you the following.
Nobody will tell you the following.
I previewed nearly hundreds of videos on Hampi on YouTube. But nobody gave proper iternary about how to visit the places.
Use Google map and directions to visit the places. Hier two wheeler if you don't have your own vehicle. Do not go for auto rickshaw option unless otherwise you can't drive.
Start the morning with queens bath and surrounding temples. Then visit Vitthal temple.
Take some rest in your hotel and in the evening visit sunset point and surrounding temples.
At night you can visit virupaksha temple.
Next morning visit sunrise point. Then go for "darli" ride. Visit the other side of Hampi that is hippy Island. Visit Anjanedari hill.
If you have more time you can visit the other remaining places.

As the Hampi is famous for the Stone Chariot which was situated at the Vitthala Temple and other monuments which includes Virupaksha Temple. The best thing is the Sunrise & Sunset at the different locations i.e. Matanga Hills, Sanapur Lake etc. Overall the Best trip for the solo travellers as we will get partners from the another countries which came to roam Hampi. If you want to chillout with your friends definitely visit but book a room near virupaksha temple and use bicycle or the journey which will give best experience ever.
The bazaar and shanty town under the towers of the ancient Virupaksha towers has great character and a superb position among these enigmatic ruins, but most hotels and facilities.are fairly compromised. for space and ammenities, probably not available in Hampi Old Town. This is backpacker world and is pretty basic. That clear, this is a fun place with great staff, perfect English, and really good food and services downstairs. The upper roof area has wonderful views and the owners will really look after your sightseeing itineraries
Kish was a wonderful, endearing host and assisted with transfers, answering cultural questions and was available for any need. The room was very clean, appropriately priced, had our own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, A/C, and a great location close to everything in Hampi. I really enjoyed staying here, felt very safe. Hampi is alcohol-free location which allows that majestic, magical energy to persist and not be thwarted by drunk tourists. Thilak homestay is an excellent choice in Hampi- thank you so much, Kish!
We stayed at this homestay, and it was amazing! The people who welcomed us were so nice and made us feel at home right away. The house was really pretty and super clean. Our room was big and had everything we needed.
Every morning, we got to eat yummy breakfast made by the hosts. It was so delicious! They also helped us in renting vehicle and connected us with the correct POC for it.
Overall, it was the best place to stay! I had a great time and can't wait to go back!
Welcoming and peaceful place right next to the rice paddies. Away from the city. The food is amazing, the menu has Indian, Italian, Mexican dishes and more. Good western breakfast. Nice chilling common area, usually with good music and vibes. You can easily rent a bike or order a tuk tuk to take you to the main Hampi attractions. The host and staff are super friendly. 👌 I initially booked 2 nights and ended up staying 6 nights. Internet available.
This place is has everything to offer - Neat and clean cottages, Scrumptious food, Great location, Scenic vicinity, Good music and an absolutely Great vibe!! The hosts were welcoming, accommodating and very helpful. Will surely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a blissful and memorable experience at Hampi. Great place to stay with both Family and friends.
The Tent rooms are soooo cute! The inside of these tents are all multi colours and it seems like you're sleeping in a circus tent. It's Amazing! Also for the price you cannot beat. The room is huge with its own bathroom and queen size bed. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in awhile! So grateful to have picked this place to stay in Hampi
We really enjoyed our stay. Mr. Shrinivas is a very good host and he was very much helpful in guiding us regarding Hampi sightseeing. All the facilities are on par with any high end hotel and its value for money. I also strongly recommend One Mr.Pampa auto driver who is too good and has very good knowledge about whole hampi. It was a homely atmosphere.
I would say, Sanjay has been a great host, room was neat and clean, well maintained. I liked the terrace sitting area. Sanjay also helped us to plan the daily itinerary. We enjoyed the whole trip very much. Also it's worth mentioning the food at his restaurant was really awsome. Definitely would recommend someone to stay here whenever visit hampi.
The surrounding area is stunning with the restaurant being the highlight of the property - it offered stunning views of the surrounding area. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel was accommodating to us arriving early in the morning. They were also helpful in organising a rickshaw tour around Hampi (Huli took us round - would highly recommend).
The hotel / resort is in a good position to visit Hampi. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were kind and helpful and the food excellent, with good choice. The massage centre was fine and it was good to have a pool on hot days! It had a relaxing ambience. We were well looked after and happy with the experience.
Clean and tidy place. The homestay owner uncle and aunty were sweet. They provided great service. Aloo paratha was tasty. They were really helpful and were very polite to talk to. I recommend this place to stay if you want to visit central hampi. This is very close by Virupaksha temple.
I have good experience for the hampi in this hotel I am stay for 3days staff also friendly with customers he well give the ordinary for hampi food is very tasty 😋 I well recomend this place jungle tree hostel hampi please visit this place and enjoy your trip 😊
Very nice hotel. The fact that it is situated inside Vidyanangar makes it truly attractive as the region is very quiet, green and a pleasure to walk/cycle around in the evening. Though it is a bit of a drive from Hampi, and the highway is not in good shape.
The rooms were clean, budget friendly, and the boy Hemant was really helpful. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hampi!!
The Host Ramesh and his family were welcoming and helped us with suggestions on where we can go. I can say this place is really good to stay in Hampi as it is closer to many places
