Beatrice was quite the hostess. Very engaged, friendly and interested. The breakfast was very extensive and loving. There was everything you could wish for and additional specials like egg or crepe were offered daily. The accommodation was cleaned daily and the location is perfect to explore Piedmont. Beatrice does not speak English but thanks to google translate communication was no problem. We will be happy to come back again.

Superfriendly owner who gave us really a heartfelt, passionate tour in the winecellar with complimentary and winetasting. Whilst we did not use it (young toddler) I think the terraces with the views to enjoy evening sip and snack would be truly wonderful.

Barolo is a very pretty town surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards. We travelled by car and it was easy to visit lots of pretty towns in this beautiful region. Barolo offers a selection of restaurants and pizzeria offering very good food, service and of course great wines and everyone was very welcoming.

A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region. We started in Asti & then Turin. Its great to get out of the city and see "real" Italy, garnished in grapes ready to harvest. Beautiful wine area, great if you like driving through vines on twisty-turny hairpin roads - we do! The Ristorante Brezza at the Hotel di Barolo is the best place to eat, with a fabulous wine list and La Cantinetta was also good. Barolo is a place to go to if you love wine, local food & vineyards. If you want nightlife and activities, you'd be better off elsewhere.

Nice village, however we liked La Morra and Monforte d'Alba a loo little more. Prices at the wine tasting were a ribb-off, Monforte d'Alba has a similar place with reasonable tasting as well as bottle pricing. The town Alba is also worth a visit.

A lovely welcome breakfast tray was laid out for us with some milk, juice to start the stay. The apartment was equipped with everything you would need and the standard of finish was very high. Excellent bed, excellent pillows, wonderful shower and bathroom. Everything was new and modern and the place had everything we could possibly want. The location is a 5 minute walk up to Barolo town on a lit path, it was perfect.

Adolfo was great with communication before we got there and ensured that we got in easily. The apartment was spacious, very comfortable, clean,well equipped and convenient for everything in Barolo. We used the underground private car parking below the building. The home itself is much more spacious than we expected, and very clean and well equipped. Barolo is in walking distance, and several hiking trails also start here. Finally and most importantly, the hosts Francesca and Federico are amazing, making sure every need is met and ready with many excellent recommendations for sights and restaurants. Daniela welcomed us brilliantly, giving us a lot of information on places to eat and to visit. The room was nice although some doors were a bit creaky which was sometimes unpleasant, especially at late night and very early morning.
