Room on the tight side, but comfortable and clean.
On the main street, great location.
Staff helpful.
Hotel Marini is in a quiet yet central area of Sassari and is in a green area. The in-house restaurant is a great place to sample traditional Sardinian cuisine.

The staff at breakfast was superfriendly and helpful. The place is ok, the rooms and facilities are a bit dates and the location is quite a bit outside. It's a good choice for a quick sleep over on a trip, which is what we did.

During our stay my partner and I didn’t take the time to explore the city of Sassari. But during the evenings we did enjoy going to a couple nice restraunts. We did enjoy using the public transportation to visit other cities but overall sassari is a very calm place to stay and very close to the north western part of the island.

Not a real tourist town but with a nice old centre (small streets, high houses, colorful facades). When we visited it (late afternoon + early evening first week of May), it was extremely quiet - some squares seemed totally deserted - which created a weird atmosphere. Scene and streets got more livelier around Piazza d'Italia and University but not what you might expect from a city with >100.000 inhabitants.
Conclusion: nice but not unmissable.

Connection from Sassari to the various beaches is good and public transport is very good and efficient. Alghero airport is just 20 mins away. There are lovely places to visit, beautiful sea and sand and weather was nice and warm. Will surely return

Sassari is a very nice town with historical city center, old walls and friendly people. Sadly the tram line is not working, although it would be useful. You can stay here for many days like at home. The town is near Alghero and Porto Torres, so many programs are there at the sea also. Recommended for everyone.

Sassari itself was disappointing.
Sassari itself was disappointing. We walked around it in an afternoon! However it was a great base for exploring the local area with great transport links! We visited Alghero, Porto Torres, Castelsardo and Stintino

The city is nice but i belive that is not the best place for accommodation in Sardignia! No beach and you need a car for traveling and stay in around 4 hours/day.
Nice restaurants in the city :) with nice athmosfere!
They were extremely accommodating and allowed me to check in earlier. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well. a nice, well organized and clean appartment with everything you need to feel comfortable. Furthermore It is warm and near the center of the city. Ah! They got Alexa as well😄 so comfortable if you need to listen to the music or use any other skill you would like to.
Would definitely send a friend there and if I ever decide to come back to Sassari i would absolutely book again. Thanks
This one-bedroom, single-storey house was a great choice for our three-night stay in Sassari, as it was in an excellent location in the old town, so near to shops, supermarkets and restaurants, but quiet and with kitchen facilities so we could eat in when we wanted to. Simona, who manages it, was super helpful in providing information about the accommodation (how to get in, wifi etc.) via video, in particular walking us through where we could find a good parking place nearby.
Excellent location in the most beautiful square in Sassari. The host was most welcoming and obliging and made an effort to assist us, even though we only spoke English and have very basic Italian. The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was provided at a range of places in the Piazza d'Italia. The owner was most obliging in allowing us to leave our luggage at the property after check-out (our return journey was only late that afternoon).
We arrived in Sassari on the last day of our stay in Sardinia but we wished we had stayed longer in Locanda Carra Manna. From the very first moment, Evelyn made us feel very welcome. The place is absolutely stunning and a lot of thought was put into the renovation of the building. The breakfast was as well so personal and super tasty. We would 100 % recommend this place for your stay in Sassari.
Central position in Sassari, it was easy to reach the places where I had my conference by foot
Comfy bed
Tv+netflix
Equipped kitchen
The size of the apartment
Hairdryer
Aircondition in two rooms, works well
Nice bar under the apartment, that has food also
Street with a lot of little stores like libreria, pharmacy, clothes etc.
Massimo was super friendly and helpful. He recommended some places to visit on our trip down to Cagliari. Place is clean. Good location within Sassari and we used it as a base to visit Alghero and other cities/beaches. We were able to find parking on the street a couple blocks away.
The property was great, right in the heart of Sassari.
It was clean and very comfortable.
Very close to the center and the host was extremely kind, professional and helpful. Definitely staying here again on our next visit to Sassari.
Rich breakfast, very helpful and kind staff, clean room.
Large and free parking in the hotel yard.
The hotel is perfectly located to visit the surroundings of Sassari, but also to visit the city center which is a 20 minute walk away.
Mario, our host, was really welcoming, funny and caring. He made sure everything was in order and we had an awesome stay. 100% recommendable to all those who are searching for a well located, comfy room in the heart of Sassari.
Central location, super clean (every 2 days you get a general cleaning plus new towels), even a mini-fridge! decent wi-fi, host is lovely, this place is better than most 4* hotels in Sassari and it's unbeatable value
A very clean, comfortable, homely guest room with an electric coffee maker and includes some free snack foods and drinks. The manager was very helpful and responded well to my messages. A great location in Sassari.
Big big room with big bathroom. The mattress was very comfortable. The hotel does not have a fixed timetable for breakfast, therefore if you need to check-out very early at the morning you can take your coffee.
I liked the communication with the contact person, the location is excellent, the studio has everything for a comfy and smooth stay in Sassari. It is a quiet area but 5 minutes walking distance from everything.
Very well designed room and bathroom in terms of both aesthetics and functionality. Good location in old quarter of Sassari, although a bit difficult to locate. Excellent breakfast.
Friendly staff and owner
Near Sassari city center (5-10 minutes walk)
Park just pass the street
Free parking on the street
Free drinks in the fridge on arrival
