Absolutely beautiful location with beautiful views of the sea, beach and islands. The hotel was clean, comfortable and with beautiful views. The staff were very nice and accommodated us for vegetarian breakfast which was vegetable-filled and tasty. We enjoyed the 30-40 min walk to get to the main port area and they offered a free shuttle ride too. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

Very comfortable small hotel right on the harbour side on the utterly charming island of Zamami. 2 mins walk from the ferry. Zamami village has various places to eat, we visited in the off-season and many places were closed so we spent our evenings at the La Touquee izakaya. The supermarket on the Main Street was also very handy, they have a fridge full of Orion beer. The fish co op was excellent for lunch as well (assuming they have food left, it often sells out), The hotel has a rooftop hot tub which is nice on a chilly night. Very comfy beds. We had breakfast only once but it was pretty memorable.

Exceptional place run by some amazing people who treat you like friends rather than guests. They made our stay in Zamami very memorable. The room itself is quite large and with all the amenities you need. Washing machines are available and you can keep your luggage at the hotel after checking out.

Peaceful location. The host picked us up from the port and dropped off our luggage on the last day too.
Great place for holidays.

Shuttle service to and from the ferry station, very clean, quiet environment
We got to see turtles at Ama Beach which was wonderful.
We got to see turtles at Ama Beach which was wonderful. We also rented an electric ‘car’ for 4 hours ($50) and were able to ride around the entire island. The accommodation (Blue Marine) was conveniently located and the breakfast and dinner (included in our arrangement) were top-notch. We especially appreciated the delicious fresh sashimi each evening with our meal. Taguchi-san created a great variety of delectable meals.

Take food with you if you are going off-season!!!!
Take food with you if you are going off-season!!!!
It’s very difficult to find food. There are two small stores selling snacks/ beer but that’s about it. Oh, the fresh seafood takeaway place is open early and sells very delicious ( and huge) onigiri plus fried fish ( ONE PIECE=¥100). There’s nothing else open in the morning.

better beaches than Aka and that Tokashiki for a normal...
better beaches than Aka and that Tokashiki for a normal beach use. For diving perhaps Aka is better
Port should have more and cleaner facilities for the travellers
300 yen for a 7 minute ride from the port to the beach in a crowded old bus without air condition sounds like a great business for the service operator.

Loved Zamami.
Loved Zamami. Furuzamami had the most amazingly clear water and coral. Village has a nice feel with many restaurant options. Be sure to reserve as we saw many people being turned away as Restaurants were full. We liked Zamami more than Tokashiki. We did diving with JoyJoy who were great with our 12 year old son who had never dived before.

Lovely place for fun with friends or relaxing on your own.
Lovely place for fun with friends or relaxing on your own. It's just a 50 mins boat ride from Naha, but you need to properly check the ferry schedules because they only have limited number of trips to and fro. Their english website also needs to be updated for events, because when we went there (18-19May), most of the restaurants were closed due to Zamami Cup. But we still had a lot of fun on the beach and the sea! Zamami is a good place for sunbathing, snorkelling, glass-bottom-boat riding, stargazing, and walking around town. I would've loved to try the yoga paddle board.

We stayed on Aka, Zamami's smaller neighbour.
We stayed on Aka, Zamami's smaller neighbour. There is one beautiful swimming beach and a tiny town with guesthouses and maybe 2 cafes.
It's perfect if you want to get away from it all and enjoy a slice of paradise
Hidenori and Eriko are exceptional nice hosts. Their warm welcome, kindness and attentions made us feel at Home and we had a wonderful stay.
Hidenori is a great professional cooker and the meals he cooks are delicious. Breakfeast is outstanding.
The rooms are comfortable, cosy and well equipped . This little and new Hotel has a nice terrasse where we can eat and stay. It is very well located at 1 minute walking from a wonderful beach.
Highly recommended.
Excellent location and facilities. The room was spacious, clean and had all the necessary amenities. The staff were so kind and accommodating. Breakfast was a complimentary bento box each morning and guests had free use of mask/snorkels/fins as well as bicycles to use to get around the island. An absolutely wonderful stay and I can’t wait to come back and stay again, their hospitality was phenomenal! Would recommend this place to everyone!
Our hosts were fantastic. The room was comfy and we appreciated having appliances in the room to make tea and store food in the fridge. We loved the rooftop bath and shower! The location is perfect, easy walking distance to the general store, restaurants, bike rental shop and beaches. We very much appreciated the introduction to Zamami that our host gave us when we arrived. We will definitely be back!

Everything. The rooms were cosy and spacious, the facilities spotless, the food delicious, the location by the sea and close to the port excellent, but mostly the kindness and friendliness of the team running the inn, their attention to their guests and the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Could not recommend enough for a laid-back chill and relaxing stay in Aka Island. Will come back.
The breakfast provided was delicious! One day it was a western breakfast, the next it was a Japanese breakfast and both were so tasty. The shuttle provided by the hotel to and from the beaches in incredibly convenient. The staff was incredibly helpful, I had made mistake on my reservation but they got everything squared away, no problem.
A nice guesthouse on Zamami island. Conveniently located - just few minutes walk from the harbour and a little bit longer to both beaches. Plenty of restaurants and bars in proximity.
The owner of the place speaks good English and is super helpful. There is also a possibility of renting a snorkel set.
The hotel is quite old but well maintained and very clean. Very well located.
English speaking staff was very helpful in renting snorkeling gear and recommending dive shops. After the check out we could still use the facilities- take a shower after the day at the beach before boarding the ferry.
Very relaxing location. We asked the staff to book tours last minute and they made it happen. They also made restaurant bookings and had great recommendations.
The room was a bit small, but clean, modern and quiet. The rooftop jacuzzi was great.
The staff picked us up at the ferry.
The room was spacious and clean.
The staff was really nice.
There was a convenient place to wash and hang the snorkelling material.
It was well located, not far from the port, the restaurants, and the bus stop to go to Furuzamami beach (it is a bit far and not easy to go by walk).
Friendly option for several people staying together. Cooking space and microwave, fridge and free washing machine makes it great for longer stays. In the outskirts of the village, so it is quiet but still close to village center and ferry.
Very friendly owner.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and came with lots of free amenities, including a washer/dryer, kitchenette and lots of beach/snorkel equipment. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Okinawa.
This guesthouse was a good place for our family to stay. It’s conveniently located near the port and restaurants in town. Since our ferry didn’t leave until 3pm, they allowed us to store our luggage near the front office after checkout.
Absolutely everything about this hotel was amazing. This was my second time staying here and I loved it even more. The best part was the food!!! Breakfast and dinner were so yummy and delicious!
It is a very humble place with very decent facilities and exceptional cleanliness.
Overall, it was an amazing experience. I do recommend this place to enjoy your time in Zamami island.
The guest house is located conveniently a couple of minutes walk from the ferry port. Rooms are basic, but adequate. They serve a good Western-style breakfast.
