Breakfast was super! But waiters tidied the table too fast so ww could never leave a glass of water or coffee cup and go looking for more food as they were gone when we returned to the table. A bot annoying.
Excellent hotel that catered for all of our needs.
Excellent hotel that catered for all of our needs. Although the airport is near (very useful) we did not hear a single aircraft all weekend. My only criticism would be that the bus service terminated at the airport. It would be useful if it continued onto Sola Hotel. Easy bus rout to Stavanger. Enjoyable walking but bring your waterproofs.
Although we had a view on the airport runway, one hardly heard the airplanes. Staff was all very kind, the room was spacious and for our daughter, there was a proper third bed instead of the type of folding beds you get at most places. All beds were comfortable. There was even a little fridge. There was plenty of parking space on the hotel's ground. The breakfast buffet was really top notch, with everything one could wish for.
Sola Strandhotell has a great location!!
Great restaurant. Great (or weirdly enough - everyone working in the restaurant and kitchen are super nice. But the welcome, the reception - they are either always busy, and seems not that hospitable. I also have stayed there three times the last three months, so I would hope they would be more nice. The people in the restaurant recognize me and are really nice though.
Very comfy bed! Large but cosy room. Very welcoming kind and friendly host who very kindly dropped me at the bus when she could, since it was cold outside. Lovely neutral cosy decor. The hens outside, the way it was no problem to cook my own meals, and the way she included me on lifts to town (as I didn’t have a car). She showed me the best travel app.
2-3 minute walk from Sola Beach which is beautiful.
Unfortunately, due to a 4 AM wake up call, could not enjoy what I hear is a fantastic breakfast, however, the location is excellent, the beach is beautiful and unusual to experience in Norway, and, especially a young fellow, called Georgie, who took us on a personal tour of the facility! He was awesome!
I love your hotell! I have been there, I think 3-4 times the last spring/summer. It's an amazing location, the beach, the weather, the retaurant is great! I love the fish and ships. I love the spa. I find the people at the restaurant and bar very friendly.
Perfect apartment for the price. Great location for me in particular, two isolated bedrooms (not easy to find for the price we paid). Fantastic host - Jane! Help us a lot with every request. Stable good internet, hot shower day or night ) All good.
The hotel is located near the airport terminal. Perfect for a sleepover if you have an early flight. However, surprisingly for a hotel in the Scandic chain, the hotel does not offer early breakfast or meal packages.
I found gluten free options at breakfast, which were very appreciated. We really liked walking from the airport to the hotel. Our room was spacious enough.
