The size of the apartment was reasonable enough. There was ample space for parking. They were quick enough to arrange for our pick up from border when requested, on urgent basis.
Perched on a rock face, this resort offers panoramic views of the spectacular Musandam shoreline. It offers an outdoor pool and an on-site diving school with professional instructors.
Located in Khasab, Atana Musandam Resort offers modern accommodations with views of the sea. It offers free WiFi in all areas, a fitness centre and an outdoor pool.

The location was great for boat trips out to see the dolphins and for snorkling.
Snorkelling is done by telegraph Island, lovely clear water, away from the Dolphins if you're nervous about that. Recommend the 3 hr morning trip.
The hotel was very nice. Calm, and relaxing for a short stay. The rooms were large and had all we needed.
We went for the half board package and enjoyed the buffet.
Staff were all very helpful and kind. There was a children's pool with slide away from the main pool. It was small but adequate and in a nice setting.
They serve alcohol if you want a drink.
There are lots of goats wandering in town that are well looked after.
Overall, it is worth the drive from Dubai, a very nice hotel. 👍
Lake Hotel is located in Mūkhī. With free WiFi, this 1-star hotel offers free shuttle service and a 24-hour front desk. Guests can enjoy mountain views.

Not much to like. Very basic and not worth the money.
Alhama Hotel Appartment is set on the beachfront in Mūkhī. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground.

Everything was extremely clean, and although simple, it is a comfortable and good place to stay in Khasab.
There is nothing much to do in the town. You will have to stick to the resort and a couple of beaches. But if you choose the right resort, you can spend some quality time. But the annoying thing was that there was a new rule that came into picture that you cannot take your vehicle if it is under mortgage. So everyone should be aware of it.

There isn’t a lot to do here, but the drive alone is worth the trip. A dhow trip is a great, relaxing way to see more of the natural beauty of the coast (unfortunately the boats are giant stinkpots emitting diesel pollution into beautiful waters). The dolphins love to play with the bow wake. Take a book and enjoy.
The fort is really interesting! Easy to visit, plenty to learn.

The best experience was a full day dhow trip, the scenery is stunning and it's also fun to travel in a dhow. The snorkelling is ok but nothing compared with other coastal areas of Oman. Unfortunately, as a solo traveller I wasn't able to join in any other trips (which require a minimum group size of 4 people). I didn't have a car so getting around is not easy (no taxis!). The local beach, Bassa, is quite good for a swim if you can ignore the horrendous plastic bottle pollution which is present everywhere in Oman.

Khasab is a nice place but you don't have many places to explore. I would recommend 1-night stay if you go from Dubai...2nd day you can book a half-day cruise which is more than enough don't go for a full-day cruise it will turn into a boring day.

Its a lovely quiet rustic place with nothing much to see or do, You can drive around the area which is very scenic if you love mountains ! Its a lovely place to unwind and fade into oblivion and drive around however I would suggest if you are particular about food which carry something along. We tried to go to one of the wadi's but the road was not developed. Work is still on! Stay at the Khasab resort and travel around the coastline which is a beautiful drive ! Also there is some diving, snorkeling and dhow cruise that you can opt for!

Khasab is a fantastic place to visit with family and friends but at suitable weather. Food facilities are very less as I couldnt find even any fast food chain. Border crossing at Omani side (both enter & exit) time was hectic, bit unorganized and time consuming. UAE side was perfectly fine. May be it is due to rush days (Eid days) but authorities should have managed it properly.
Dhow cruise was just amazing. We used services of Khasab Sea Tours. Staff was friendly and very cooperative.
Superfriendly staff, qiet place, dinner was excellent and the best breakfast we had for a long time. Highly recommended!!! We had a special treatment, because we needed a transport from the oman border to Khasab. It was not easy to arrange, but the reception made it possible. Thanks to all of you for picking us up from the Oman-UAE border. So you enabled us making the once in a lifetime experience to come to Musandam and make a Dhow-cruise.
Everything about our stay at Atana Musandam was wonderful, from the lovely room (Musandam Suite), to the pool and kids' play area, to the excellent food at the restaurant, to the more-than-helpful staff who booked our Dhow cruise for us and helped us to get our PCR tests for returning to Dubai. We had a perfect trip, and that was largely thanks to the Atana Musandam - we would recommend it to anyone!
-Big spacious room. I stayed in a king room with seaview and the rate was way cheaper compared to hotels in Muscat. The sea was a bit further away but the view was great especially at sunrise.
-hotel is just a stone's throw away from different dhow tour operators
-staff was great and helpful
-wifi was working, water heater and a/c as well
-free airport pickup and drop off
The location is great. I rent a two bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchen - rooms are big with two double beds. My kids are happy with the hotel and room. Hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. They even checked with us before our arrival, share advise and hints for what to do at the border & migration processes.
Location is convenient, especially if you're planning to do the zipline.
and it's nearby a very nice public beach.
Staff is always very welcoming and nice, I haven't had a problem with any of the Atana hotels so far.
The size of the room. Free upgrade to 3 beds due to 2 beds was not available. Dolphin watching trip was also provided with an extra charge including transport from the hotel to the jetty. Breakfast was nice.
I like the location of the hotel plenty of car park plus looks like one of the Oman museum talk about culture more than hotel . The stuff are very nice .the hotel is classic build.
A Gem in Khasab! Fantastic facilities and a beautiful hotel. Food is excellent and the hotel has a lovely relaxed home like feel. All staff are super friendly and attentive.
The design of the rooms and the layout of the hotel reflects traditional yet modern style. The staff was helpful suggesting attractions and ‘must to do’ in the city.
Location, quiet, friendly staff and swimming pool! The hotel is a great base for exploring Musandam. It is located on the outskirts of Khasab overlooking the Gulf.
