Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! The host was incredibly hospitable, maintaining excellent and prompt communication throughout. The cleanliness was impeccable. We appreciated the early check-in after a long trip. I'll certainly be recommending this hotel to others and eagerly look forward to returning myself!

Breakfast with plenty of choices, we didn't get bored during our 5 nights stay. Pretty walkable distance to Matira beach, it's not boring, and Matira is awesome. Rooms was very spacious and clean. The garden is very nice to have. The beach is quite scenic, although not as swimmable as Matira. Having snorkel masks and towels is a big plus (please note that fins are not available).
Featuring a private white sand beach which is exclusive to guests, this luxury resort offers beachfront accommodation on Matira Point. Guests can stay in unique bungalows positioned over the water.

We rented an overwater bungalow. There are 3 at this property. There were steps going into the water and our balcony hung over the water. We loved being able to swim right off the deck and enjoy sunsets here. We liked the small fridge, the kettle so we could make tea/coffee and the dishes. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner.
Offering free WiFi in a dedicated garden lounge, Sunset Hill Lodge provides self-contained apartments on the waterfront or on the hill side. All rooms boast picturesque sea views.

The hosts ensured pick up from the port after arrival. They did absolutely everything to make my stay as perfect as it could be. The day of checkout they arranged for me to go to the beach and drop off my luggage. It really was a wonderful start of my holidays. And what a great terrace with sea view. Mauruuru ♥️
Guests at this luxury resort can choose between garden suites with private pool, beachfront suites with a private hot tub, or overwater bungalows with direct access to the turquoise waters below.

The views are amazing and the rooms are fabulous, but the hotel is really let down by service. I don’t know whether it’s because I was a sole traveller or because I’m British (there was a clear preference for the French, who seemed to get a far warmer greeting across the resort), but the service in the restaurants was forgetful and slow. Twice, I had to repeatedly ask for a bottle of water (and other things like bread) and my food came before my drinks. The breakfast was very good - there was a wide selection, but the evening meals were overly fancy. The food in the Poerava Restaurant was a let down, every course was over complicated. The menu needs refining to remove half of the ingredients and the wine pairing missed the mark. The service at the pool bar was terribly slow. The rooms are delightful - I had an over water villa. I only received turndown service once, because they seemingly came while I was getting ready for dinner (even though they knew the times I had reservations) and my beach towels in the room were never replaced. The spa was wonderful. Overall, my stay was lovely, but the service needs a lot of work. My complaints might seem like small things, but when you are paying over £1,250 a night, everything should be perfect or as near to it as possible.
Boasting pool views, Tiki House offers accommodation with an open-air bath and a patio, around 2 km from Mount Otemanu.

Best place to be in contact with the local culture. Fred is a great host, willing to help you in any way he can. Meals were so delicious, we loved our stay!
