Quinta do Lago was just beautiful, very high end with plenty...
Quinta do Lago was just beautiful, very high end with plenty of good restaurants to choose from. We were there primarily for golf and the South Course of Quinta do Lago was stunning. Plenty of amazing houses around the course to keep me entertained when I wasn't watching the golf.
We ate out at a variety of different restaurants, Bovinos, Paixa, Tony's, Casa do Lago and The Cheeky Pup, all very different from the next, but all served up top quality food and had a great atmosphere, even at the beginning of November when I would have expected things to have quietened down.
We walked a fair bit around Quinta and I found it exceptionally clean and well tended to. I will definitely be back.

The hotel itself was good, but the location dreadful.
The hotel itself was good, but the location dreadful. The noise of airplanes taking off and landing every few minutes was constant from 6am. They were flying so low you could read the name of the airline with no difficulty. Perhaps would make a good de luxe airport hotel, but not a peaceful holiday hotel. On that basis would not recommend or return.

This is an upmarket area in the Algarve.
This is an upmarket area in the Algarve. It is well maintained and a lovely place to relax. The Ria Formosa national park, which is nearby, is a beautiful place to walk and watch nature. If you are a golfer, this is a great place to stay, although playing golf here is expensive.
The roads are clean and easy to get around. One of the best restaurants in the area is the Green Valley, which I highly recommend. There are several others offering good quality food.

The hotels location was perfect and has a long boardwalk...
The hotels location was perfect and has a long boardwalk built through the nature reserve which allows access to the beach and various good fun restaurants.
The Bold Octopus being one is definitely worth a visit. We were lucky enough to drop in late one afternoon to sit on the roof terrace with a drink and enjoy live music. We returned one evening to eat there and the seafood menu was very good.
Julia’s beach at the end of the boardwalk has a variety of beach bars and restaurants which are definitely work the ride (or long walk) to visit.
We decided not to rent a car and use bikes rented from the hotel which proved to be perfectly adequate for sight seeing, visiting shops and restaurants.
Hotel Quinta do Lago was beautifully furnished, had a wonderful pool with a good many sun beds for all of the guests and a fabulous breakfast!! Our room had a large sea view balcony and was spacious and well equipped.
The bathroom was also very spacious, scrupulously clean and well stocked with products.
The hotel staff made our stay with their friendliness and their willingness to help in every way possible.
Can’t wait to go back
Loved the balcony, the closeness to The Shack, the nature reserve and the beach. All beautiful. Lovely and clean, great size and nice balcony. Staff were very helpful and efficient booking taxis. I also was pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included - which was fantastic, and in a lovely restaurant.
We had to leave early to play golf on the last morning but they packed us a WONDERFUL takeaway breakfast. Fantastic location for playing the three Quinta golf courses. Would definitely return. Thank you for the perfect stayz
Very clean and nicely decorated hotel just beside Quinta Shopping. The staff are very friendly particularly Aidrianna at reception. She made us feel very welcome and and was very knowledgeable about the area. We really enjoyed renting the bikes for the day which is free and a nice way to see the surrounding area . The rooms are beautifully decorated and food is very good in the restaurant. Nice place to stay as a couple or with a small group.
The apartment is extremely comfortable and very well equipped with fantastic sea views.
The Resort has great facilities with a beautiful Pool, Pool Bar /Restaurant serving delicious fresh food, tennis courts and a private beach concession with sun lounges.
The Resort is in a prime location walking distance to Quinta do Lago Beach, Lake, Golf courses and Restaurants.
The hotel is in an excellent location – Close to the lake, close to the sea and close to the golf courses. My room was spacious and very comfortable, even if it was a bit outdated. I was there for five nights and enjoyed an excellent breakfast each morning. I had a couple of lunches at the pool bar and they were also excellent.
Loved Quinta do Lago even though not golfers. Great friendly relaxed hotel. Stylish modern design and two bedroom suites were perfect for our family. Great breakfast choice. No problem finding subbed. Hotel didn’t feel too big. All staff nice. Enjoyed nice 1 hour circular walk to the beach and on the boardwalk to the lake.
Excellent location and facilities. We had a big group and wanted to rent a villa, the biggest plus was that it was run like a hotel with house keeping as well as concierge to support. It was a very quiet location and close to the beach so we got good night sleep (also thanks to the AC) after a fun filled day.
The hotel is at a very nice location and offers small houses with a little terrace and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. The room was serviced every three days, which we found to be pleasantly unintrusive and also good for the environment.
The villa was spotless, well maintained & fully stocked. The bedrooms were spacious, light & both had en suites. The pool area & general outside space is lovely too. Alex, our host was awesome as well, he made our weekend with his restaurant & bar recommendations!
Excellent location within the wider Quinta do Lago. Easy access to pool and tennis courts. Enjoyable walk to the beach over wooden walkway along preserved wetlands. Great access to local restaurants especially "Dois Passos" (must go).
Lovely size rooms
Amazing young concierge assistant Called João couldn’t have been better … he should move to a hotel that warrants his level of service
Very nice pool and breakfast restaurant staff
Comfy beds
Villa lovely and clean, gardens and grounds kept really well and staff very very good - excellent with kids. Pool very nice - location is great - Quinta do lago brilliant with fabulous restaurants.
The property was as described. Lovely modern apartment in a quiet location.
Loved the carpet in the bedroom and the comfy lounge area ( like home from home)
Whilst the booking was made through booking.com I had requested 2 villas with 4 bedrooms each was disappointed that we only got 3 bedrooms in each property
