The center of the city is nice and there are some beautiful catholic churches and old buildings to admire.
You have to watch out for the drivers though, as they don't really respect anything whatsoever, especially not pedestrians.

Very friendly people especially in the country side, food is absolutely delicious (ask the waiter what's good and try local cuisine) . Great light for photography nearly every day and some cool characters to shoot in Tara Oasului! If you like fishing there are lots of lakes around the city and people love to fish over there.

Great city in the north of Romania to visit and for a weekend or longer. Fantastic terraces and small restaurants serving traditional food like The Dome & No Pardon. Beautiful surroundings worth exploring.
This was not my first stay in Satu Mare, but it was the first time in hotel Viena and if I was to return, this will be my choice:
- VERY spacious and nicely decorated rooms
- very comfortable beds
- crystal clear
- 5min walk from Satu Mare center
- very good breakfast with the BEST juicy omelette I had since 2018 in (5* hotel) Turkey
- the reception really works 24/7 - we arrived after midnight at 01:00 and didnt have to wait or call anyone
- late checkout at 12:30 free of charge
Don't let the shabby external appearance of the apartment block fool you. This is a perfect apartment in the center of Satu Mare, large, well appointed, well decorated. I found nothing to complain about. Assigned parking is in the lot outside the entrance. You probably won't meet the owners as they live elsewhere, but I did and they are wonderful people deserving of your business. AT 30€ for 1 person for 1 night in mid-April, the price is a bargain for this great space.
Nice place at the outskirts of the city, perfect for transit (as the name implies). The rooms are clean and warm during winter, plenty of hot water and free parking in the courtyard. It's nothing fancy, but they have excellent prices and the overall value for money is spot on. We arrived late at night but it was no problem and we could do a self check-in/check-out, which is nice as you don't have to worry about that after a long trip.
An old house, very well refurbished, with a nice entrance and back yard.
The interior is clean and provides various facilities ( bathroom, kitchenette with accesories and fridge)
The check in is easy, no need to met the host, which anyway kindly assists you via phone.
The location is good, walking distance from city center.
The hotel was super cute. The owners were amazing. Friendly and ver personable.
My favorite was the lady who worked the breakfast. Although she didn’t speak English we were able to communicate every morning and she brought joy to my day. So friendly and super sweet.
Would stay there again 💯
The location is great, right in the city center. The room is very nicely decorated and it has everything you need. The bed is comfortable What I liked the most was the fact that I booked it last minute, very late at night and it was possible to go there and get the keys.
The hotel is clean, quiet (we stayed in the middle of the week), at good location if you plan to leave Satu Mare early in the morning, the breakfast is very good and the staff very helpful and polite. I also appreciate the parking and the size of the room.
Central location, big open space, private backyard with parking. Kind, nice staff. The apartment was a 3 minute walk away from the city centre, lots of restaurants.
Overall a great place to stay with or without family! We will definitely be coming back.
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff going the extra mile to support you in any way imaginable. Brand new hotel with great amenities, and really well located just outside of the centre of Satu Mare. I can only recommend this hotel in best terms possible.
Great view from the spacious balcony, really quiet at night. Kitchen well equipped. Modern, very clean, tastefully furnished.
Awesome shower cabin. An overall amazing place in the heart of Satu Mare/Szatmárnémeti.
Nice, new apartmann situated in a quiet neighborhood, still close enough to the city center. Parking spot in the building's courtyard. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Perfect for families also.
Very close to the city centre and all the bus stops, we liked the balcony and thought the apartment was suitably spacious for our needs. The aircon helped as most days was close to 30 degrees
Localization great, free parking accessible on the street behind the hotel (navi will drive you), breakfast not fireworks but acceptable, for city visit recommendable
