Very friendly people especially in the country side, food is absolutely delicious (ask the waiter what's good and try local cuisine) . Great light for photography nearly every day and some cool characters to shoot in Tara Oasului! If you like fishing there are lots of lakes around the city and people love to fish over there.

Great city in the north of Romania to visit and for a weekend or longer. Fantastic terraces and small restaurants serving traditional food like The Dome & No Pardon. Beautiful surroundings worth exploring.

This is a perfect apartment in the center of Satu Mare, large, well appointed, well decorated. I found nothing to complain about. Assigned parking is in the lot outside the entrance. You probably won't meet the owners as they live elsewhere, but I did and they are wonderful people deserving of your business. AT 30€ for 1 person for 1 night in mid-April, the price is a bargain for this great space.

The rooms are clean and warm during winter, plenty of hot water and free parking in the courtyard. It's nothing fancy, but they have excellent prices and the overall value for money is spot on. We arrived late at night but it was no problem and we could do a self check-in/check-out, which is nice as you don't have to worry about that after a long trip.
