We checked in after visiting Salina turda (sault mines) Hotel parking is on the stret across the road, next to a nice park for kids. Hotel staff was really friendly. Rooms were clean an specious with a fridge in the room. After we checked in we went for a lunch at hotel restaurant. Restaurant had great food (and was not expensive). Breakfast was in the restaurant on the top floor, buffe, with a nice view of the ciry. Spa area was clean and nice. Kids enjoyed the pool i liked salted massage pool. Sauna could be a bit more hot, but overall everying was satisfactory for the price. We woud come again.

The roads are bad inside the city, but amazing outside of it. The Turda Salt Mine was a big disappointment; very crowded and poorly organized.
We ordered takeout from CSA BRAVIA, the food was spoiled.

Turda Salt Mine is a great experience for families seeking both adventure and health benefits. As parents, we were initially drawn to the mine's history, but what amazed us was how much our child benefited from the unique environment. The salt-infused air worked well on their respiratory health, creating an unexpectedly positive impact that we hadn't anticipated.
By the way, if you are coming for a long time (10 – 14 days) do not forget to buy a season ticket [abonament] for it will save you money and will let to skip the long lines at the entrance.
Exploring the mine was like entering a magical underground world. The spacious chambers and the awe-inspiring underground lake kept our child's curiosity piqued throughout the visit. The mine's history came to life through informative displays, making it an educational experience as well.
What made our visit even more special were the various activities tailored to families.
We were impressed by the Turda Salt Mine's commitment to maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for visitors. The well-maintained facilities, clear signage, and friendly staff made our visit stress-free and enjoyable. The mine's unique combination of history, adventure, and health benefits truly set it apart.
As parents, witnessing the positive effects the salt mine had on our child's health was a true blessing. We left Turda not only with cherished memories but also with a sense of gratitude for the health benefits our family experienced. Turda and its salt mine hold a special place in our hearts, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to families seeking a memorable and health-enhancing getaway.

Turda is a lovely town, although currently undergoing major construction road works so difficult to navigate around in a car.
Cheile Turzii and Salina Turda are must do highlights of the area, both beautiful and definitely worth visiting.
If you only do hike in the canyon, you can manage to do both in one day.
The salt mine is really impressive.
Staff in Turda restaurants is very nice, not much English speaking but trying hard, even if they need to use Google translator.
Local food is delicious.

Turda is a small interesting city to visit.
Turda is a small interesting city to visit. Anyhow the Turda Salt Mine is today a genuine history museum of Salt exploitation. The excellent condition of the mining compartments and the equipment used for salt transportation ,as well as the care with which the mine was prepared for touristic use, have turned it into a place of mingled history and legend. The ever higher number of tourists coming here from most various parts of the world to visit the mine are a confirmation of its historical and touristic value.
The Salt Mine is certainly the most famous destination for tourists visiting the town of Turda.
This is a pension, not a 4 star hotel as indicated in Booking; it has no reception (or it was not working when we arrived); we got a message which rooms were reserved for us.
As a pension, it is good; but a bit tricky to find a way there and as there is no staff, nobody can answer you question concerning local rules etc; but you can communicate the owners via booking.com messages; we got quick answers.
As it is situated at the top of a hill, the view is fantastic; and the breakfast was really good.
Perfect location in downtown Turda, close to neaby atractions. We were two families with kids, so the apartments were perfect for us. Separate sleeping area for the kids, with complete intimity for the parents. The apartments are newly refurbished, in the high attic of an old house; the restaurations and furnishing are done with good taste, the general atmosphere being warm and comfortable. We totally loved it and will definetely stay here again!
It's a perfect location, close to Turda attractions and very close to transit way to Bucharest/Cluj but on a side, in a very quiet street. The landlord was very helpful and hospital. We arrived very late - round 23.00 - he offered us drinks and cooked for us very delicious dinner (because restaurants were closed). The room was clean and comfortable. I can definitely recommend it!
Its a good camping in small town Turda. I spent my time very good. There are all, that needed: shower, toilets, kitchen with dinning place, swimming pool, dishes, wi-fi, hammocks, electricity, fresh beer and nice owners. I hope, that will come back next year. Dan and Christina are friendly people who helped in many ways
Very nice cozy accommodation with garden, terrace, cafe. Breakfast is incredible! You eat outside, you can choose from many fruits and vegetables, english type of breakfast, lots of cheese and smoked meat. Even though the hotel is located on main street rooms are calm and silent. Air-conditioned.
Everything was perfect and the owner is very nice! There was an air conditioning in the room, which was very helpful during the stay in summer. The house is far from the centre so it was very peaceful and quiet. Very close to the Salina Turda. Would recommend for everyone!
The room was spacious like in the pictures. It was clean and modern.
Has a private parking, quite big, but if it's lunch time it is possible to not find a parking spot.
Salina Turda is very very close, you can see it from the room.
The receptionist is nice.
The hotel is very close to the main landmark in the city of Turda - the Salt mine.
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and clean with air conditions and terrace.
The bathroom is clean.
WiFi signal is OK.
The breakfast was great!
Nice clean apartment. Host provided all extras including coffee. Good central location with included parking place. I recommend this apartment for a visit to Turda. Lower entrance to the Turda Salt mine is in walking distance.
