The Dar el Marsa is a three-story hotel in a great location on the very beach front of La Marsa. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel, a modern look in the comfortable rooms and great beds. The spa services were excellent as well as the large 'relaxation space' open to guests. Rooftop restaurant / bar comes highly recommended and has one of the best views in the area.

Nice family run hotel with a good location for sightseeing. Depending on the traffic 20 min to the airport and 30 min to the city of Tunis. The owner of the hotel was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect and prepared as per your wishes. Highly recommended stay.

La marsa beach was right outside our guest house.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day. I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs. We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.TraceyUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Very clean and beautiful house. Esma and son were accommodating hosts. We were expecting a hotel rather than a B&B. Bed had partial walls on both sides with shelves so easy to bump head or body. Breakfast was the same both days—Tasty and fresh but nothing memorable. Several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bakery as well. Value for money seems a little expensive.

The apartment we stayed at was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for longer stays. The outdoor sitting area/garden was lovely and the owners were friendly and allowed a very late check-in, which was much appreciated. The guesthouse is close to many cafes, restaurants and supermarkets (very handy, especially when visiting during Ramadan when most eateries are closed).neferiaGreece
