We had an incredible experience at Can Pares! The house was in a very hygienic state and provided authentic aesthetics where all attributes for daily use where present. Anna served us with an extensive breakfast every morning including all sorts of typical Catalunyan/Spanish delicates. With Girona being around the corner and Barcelona 1 hour away, Can Pares was a very convenient and calm place to stay, with a dog, kittens, sheep and donkey that where very kind and enjoyable to see. In conclusion an excellent house with a very kind host!

This is a perfect country escape to experience rural Spain. I loved the 14th century building, tiny chapel, lovely grounds, towers with ramparts, friendly hosts and the chickens. We took a room in the main building (there are also separate building accommodation). We had a separate bathroom which may be shared if there are other guests.
