Our host, Filipe, was very kind and took time to tell us about the local area and Madeira. There was a book with maps and tips as well. He also left a large loaf of fresh baked bread and some eggs from the chickens who roamed the farm. To top it all off, he was able to arrange for our laundry to be done the last full day we were there, even though it was a national holiday! It really felt like a home away from home! Private and relaxing location, beautiful surroundings and everything you needed was there. The beds were really comfortable! Sofia, the owner, was really helpful and friendly and welcomed us with a fantastic sourdough bread. Thanks for everything, we would definitely like to come back!

Beautiful apartment with all equipment you can ever need! The interior design amazed me. Everything was clean, I could prepare dinner, use wash machine and then relax on the big terrace with magnificent view over the garden and the ocean. I would highly recommend this place to all of my friends. Also the owners seem so lovely and helpful. Place much, much better than expected!

The property is a stone's throw from Funchal Airport. It is large, spacious and perfect for a group of friends or family. All rooms have ensuites, there is a great outdoor BBQ and bar area, as well as a pool table, to be enjoyed in the evening after a long day's hike.
