This gave my wife and I a chance to stay in a proper quirky Manor House. What was surprising was the award winning Indian Restaurant operating also in the house, which has been voted in the top ten in UK. The food and service was amazing and the hallway gallery with the awards and press clippings for the restaurant and the history of the house back to the 1700's. Our room was huge with a beautiful bathroom and very comfortable bed and big windows to open. We slept well.
This has certainly been a highlight of our trip from Australia. The staff were just great, friendly and chatty and Ollie the cat at reception thinks he is the owner of the Manor.

Very convenient location. Quiet and peaceful. Very clean and tidy
Very quiet and peaceful. Very grand with stunning grounds
Amazing location, super rural, spectacular scenery, exceptionally quiet. Well off the beaten track and far from civilisation, perfect getaway for outdoor adventurers. If you want luxury and wall to wall restaurants and shops, this is not for you.
We booked in for dinner. Exceptional! Breakfast was delicious. Very appreciative of supplying soy milk. Lovely grounds. Other guests were quiet, peaceful and tranquil environment. Loved the doors opening on ground floor.
A lovely modern apartment with security. Even though its located on a busy road it was actually very peaceful and quiet in the apartment. The host was very accommodating and the apartment had everything that was needed.
Such a peaceful and quiet location. Lovely food and drink. Lovely walks nearby. Comfortable and spacious. Loved the large bath. We had to book this last minute as our previous accommodation cancelled our stay. We were very impressed with our 'emergency' accommodation!
Close to the beach ,spacious ,good size rooms Aldi just 3 min walk away fish and chips just around the corner Great location Very happy with the stay however not quiet luxury still would recommend to others Marc was just text away with any question I had Asked about safety gates for kids prior to our arrival which was lovely of him
The location was perfect for the Brecon Beacons. The property was within a lovely old church conversion. There was ample parking, the neighbourhood was very quiet. The apartment was such a good price for one night's stay. It was clean and tidy, peaceful, the shower was amazing, nice and powerful. It was easy to gain access to the property and I wanted pizza for dinner. There just happened to be a pizza place around the corner. All in all a good nights stay and I would return again.
I arrived late after long day hiking. On the edge of a housing estate, the hotel didn’t look much! Very quiet and no one on reception. But the young female staff member was very helpful. The hotel inside was bright, clean and warm. The room was basic but perfectly comfortable and warm. I didn’t really want to go out to look for food so ate at the hotel restaurant. I was on my own but that was fine. The food exceeded my expectations! Just what I needed after long day trekking! Gammon steak followed by treacle sponge! Very happy!
