The beautifully renovated historic house is overlooking the temple tank. Meju was the perfect host. The entire team was amazing. The traditional South Indian meals prepared by her mother-in-law were delicous! We cannot wait to come back.

I've been travelling in India for a few months now, and when you're a tourist, you don't usually get a free ride when it comes to spending money (which is understandable to a certain extent). When I arrived, the owner advised me to change my room for one with air conditioning, more suitable for a westerner, for a very reasonable supplement, but I was wary, out of habit. I had booked 2 nights but my plans changed and I only stayed one night. Without my asking, he then offered to refund me in full for my second night, even though it was my decision! So I offered him a 50/50. I'd like to underline his great honesty, which is important because it's becoming increasingly rare! Otherwise nothing to say: it was clean, comfortable and ideally located (450 m from the bus station, a few hundred metres from the beach and the 'basilisca of our lady of good health').
