The city is this weird mix of Comunist era housing blocks, historic parts, lots of greenery while still very much being "modern Balkan".
It's hard to describe, but I really liked the vibe of this city.

You can hike along the surrounded mountains and have a beautiful view to the city;
You can find many different restaurants in the center, the one I like most is hukic pekara (founded in 1890) who bakes the delicious bread from "charcoal" oven;
No direct bus from the airport to the city;
No clear bike or walking way on the main roads;
Buy a 15GB/5Days simcard for mobile internet with 4 KAMs in the airport once arrival.

Great place to visit and enjoy.
Cousine is excellent. If you are carnivore be sure to order "cevapi" / "cevapcici" in Limenka or Sarajka. Pro tip: they are both great and you can use that spark lokal opinion discussion.
City is evidently prospering and people are positive and polite.
Definite go to.

i hope it is only temporary but the city smelled of creosote, like a train station. dirty, abandoned buildings. seemed almost empty. has a long road to recover. i will never go back to Tuzla...then there is the 6am wake up screaming of some religious temple...blah blah blah blaring from speakers at 06:00. i do not need to be awakened by some superstition

Tuzla in Autumn is just amazing that I didn't expect,the colors attractive me so much,I couldn't stop to take photos. And the weather is perfect,during I stayed even it was just short time but I do really recommend you could visit there if any chance. It's a calm city not for tourist but that's just good to visit to see the real city it should be.
The room was nice, clean, it is in the centar of the Tuzla, about 100 m from main square and from there everythin worth wisiting in Tuzla is very close.
Staff was pleasent, breakfast is very good, there was parking right in front of the accomodation (3 euros per day).
The quality-price ratio is great, for 23 euro for night for my wife and me and two children, with breakfast. Recomendations for everyone. Everything is in walking distance.
Also, Tuzla is very nice city...
Apartement was new, modernly furbished and spotless clean. It was spacious enough for 2 people and had everything we needed along with a designated free parking space. It is situated on 15th floor (out of 16, and yes, building does have an elevator) so it offers a great sunsest view of Tuzla from a small balcony. It is located 5-10 min walk from city center and entrace to Pannonica lakes. Communication with host (Jasmin) was smooth, as was check in and check out.
Perfectly clean, comfortable house, having everything necessary for staying there. Not to far from the city center, parking place provided, cosy garden for enjoying morning/evening coffee, playing cards or yamb as we did.
Easy going communication with Sandra helped us to find the place without navigation🙂.
We sure will go there again, my sincere recommendations for everyone looking for the place to stay in Tuzla❤️
The hotel is located just a few minutes walking from downtown and the room was very clean and comfortable with a nice private balcony. The breakfast was very good and accurately prepared and the Bosnian coffee I was served was delicious. But what made my stay special was the hospitality of the staff. My Tuzla remain an example of successful multiethnic coexistence for the whole country!
Spacious and very clean apartment.
Nicely setup with everything you need for short or long stay. Location is walking distance to downtown, good restaurants, bars and salt lakes of Tuzla. When here don't skip Cevapi in Limenka Restaurant down the street!
Host was quick to respond, super pleasant and easy to communicate with.
10/10 definitely a go to place in Tuzla.
Daljo did everthing he could to make my one-day-only stay in Tuzla to be easy and happy. The hotel is in a quite area near the city center, where you can find a big shopping mall and interesting brutalist buildings. The room itself is clean, and has everything you need for a short stay. I will definitely come back here next time in Tuzla.
The location of the apartament is the best in whole city, near all important turistic points. 5 minutes from the Panonian Salt Lakes (Tuzla's beach). Very clean and comfortable, you will feel better than in a hotel. Bosnian hosts have special care about their guests in all aspects and you can feel supported like in a family.
Very nice Hotel. This would be a 4 star in West Europe too. Big room, spacious bathroo, the room can be darkened very well at night. Good breakfast with a lots of choices. I am definitely recommend this Hotel if you are staying in Bosnia. Better than any of the Hotels in Mostar I think for example.
Excellent apartment, very clean, nicely decorated, cozy and warm, the heating is very good (since we were there in November). The city center is on walking distance, shops and markets are near by also. My recommendation to everyone who wish to visit Tuzla - stay at Ajla apartments 😊
This apartment was really clean and well-decorated. It was such a pleasure to just look around the room during the stay. The location is also close to the centre of the city and overall I would recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay in Tuzla to check this place out.
Great place, friendly owners who go an extra mile to accommodate their guests. The apartment is modern and very cozy. It’s located less than 5 minute walk to Panonska Jezera (Panonian Lakes in Tuzla) All the great food restaurants and bars are also within a walking distance.
Really nice and professional host. I had a really comfortable stay in Tuzla thanks to Ahmet. The house and facilities were spotless. Kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom is definitely an inspiration for my future home 😁
Best location possible and the garage parking is really a great thing to have in central Tuzla. All in all this is probably the best apartment we have booked. Highly recommend and will book next time again.
Great location few minutes walk from the Square. The apartment was clean, beautiful layout, AMAZING view of Tuzla. Contactless entry was seamless, host is extremely kind and communicative.
"Pansion Center" is located in the heart of the Tuzla city centre. The room was spotlessly clean, peaceful, and comfortable. Free parking was offered on the property. We had a great stay.
Hotel staff and location were great, and then in the morning, I had a beautiful breakfast. I am thankful for this Hotel experience and can highly recommend to stay here when in Tuzla!
We had a wonderful time for NYE. Place is so clean, homey and spacious. Our host vas very nice and welcoming. Definitely would recommend to anyone coming to visit Tuzla.
I like the location the most. Its only 5 meters to the centre of Tuzla, 10 meters away is very beautifull little dzamia that looks like a small house with wooden bell.
