Requested a harbour view room and was not disappointed. The checkin process was smooth and friendly and even included a complimentary welcome cocktail. Comfortable bed, great shower in the newly renovated bathroom. We ate at the Bear restaurant both nights and had excellent food and service there as well.

We enjoyed how the Hotel was interactive- more than just a lobby & restaurant.
We inadvertently forgot a small pillow from home,in our room when we checked out. Initially, the first time we phoned about it, we were told that it was our responsibility to arrange for shipping it back to us. The second call to Hotel Zed, the person answering immediately said that they could send it to us ~ no problem. We received it back yesterday. It may be just a pillow , but it has extreme sentimental value.

Super cozy stay in a very well equipped trailer/camper.
Nice bed, pretty spacious and with built-in speakers.
Had basic cooking condiments including oil(!), which is very nice since you don't want to spend money on stuff like that for such a short stay as a lot of it then gets wasted.

Our room looked out on Pier 1 in Tofino and we loved watching the float planes, water taxis and sunrises and sunsets from the many windows. It was an ideal location for the townsite, however, since my husband has mobility issues I had to drive for meals and spent a lot of time finding parking.

I absolutely love going to Tofino. There are so many places to stay, so many restaurants to eat at, and also so many things to do during the day. We loved Tofino and highly recommend it for a stay. Beautiful part of the country. Great food. Lots of outdoor activities. Took a boat trip with Remote Passages to see the bears and it was a fantastic 3 hours. Stayed at Chesterman beach which is a great location - Seafarer B&B (friendly, comfortable and quiet). Had huge breakfasts provided at the B&B and didn’t need to eat again until dinner! Had great meals at The Shelter and Roar (which is in the Zed Hotel) Restaurants. Drove 40 minutes to Ucluelet one day to walk tracks around Wild Pacific Rim. Fantastic photos - eagles, seal, landscape, rock pools. Lovely cafes.

Tofino is worth the drive. Loved the casual vibe of this remote surf town. In winter it was delightful. We went up to Ucluelet and did a walk. We surfed in very thick wetsuits, and we had a sauna on the beach. The whale watching in winter didn't seem to be so easy to find.FranceneAustralia - 10Scored 10

What an absolutely interesting place! And we experienced both a trees breaking, power outing ferocious storm, and some pleasant and moderately sunny weather. Visiting in the "off season" was very nice.
Visiting in the "off season" was very nice. Everyone seemed relaxed and there were no crowds. Lots of free parking available. Most stores/restaurants were open. Some of the tour groups were still operating as well. Co-op was a great place for reasonably priced groceries, including a deli/bakery. Trails were well groomed and easy to locate. Try to work in the Bog Boardwalk trail as it's a very unusual area. People were still surfing/kayaking, etc.

We arrived during the heat wave and they had fans turned on to keep the room cooler before our arrival. The room is very spacious, with a kitchen that was very useful during our stay and there is a large balcony with a great view of the sunset during summer. They provide free parking. Access to Tofino and Ukee were super easy. There was only one charge port but I was able to use it as much as needed and we did a lot of back and forth in the EV so that was key.
