In the picturesque, seafront village of Erbalunga is the Demeure Castel Brando Hôtel & Spa. This authentic 19th century private house sits in its own grounds and offers charming accommodation.

Comfortable and clean and spacious room. Appreciated the microwave and fridge in the room as the hotel is on top of a hill and it rained a lot during our stay so we brought food for the evening back to the room. Friendly staff and good views. A lovely town to be in dry weather , and a lovely hotel to stay in at any time. Excellent breakfast included with plenty of choice.
Located in the centre of Bastia, Hotel Bonaparte offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi access. It is less than a 10-minute walk to the ferry port and a 5-minute walk to the train station.

Great, family run hotel, located on the hills, 15 min drive from Bastia. You can get there by car or taxi. Absolutely stunning view on the mountains and the sea. You can enjoy breakfast (big thank you! for gluten free option!) from the outside terras with spectacular mountain view. Rooms are clean and comfort.
Dinner menu is exqusite and truly top food is served! Cudos to the chef! This is type of 'place with its history', so don't expect modern type of architecture or trendy vibes. Instead, atmosphere, quitness, nature around and the owners and staff make this place great experience.
Hotel le Forum is located in the city centre of Bastia and is a 5-minute walk from the Mediterranean Sea. The property features a terrace and free WiFi in public areas.

Our group stayed here for 4 nights in the beggining of July 2019. The residence is completely new and rooms are clean and well - equipped. I would like to highlight the staff, namely Myriam. She is just lovely and friendly and hospitable.. Feel free to speak with her, she can help you with basically everything (Inter alia prepare dinner, order pizza, make cocktails). On top of that, we enjoyed jacuzzi as well as swimming pool... Even in the evening if you have a agreement in advance. Sandy beach about 10 km from the appartment in Pietracorbara, local rocky beach about 3 min by foot, parking place right in front of the building, above the main road. To sum up, I can only recommend this place and hope we will meet with Myriam in the future, for instance in the Czech Republic.

Erbalunga is a lovely little town and it is close enough to Bastia to visit as well as being close to the village's further up the coast with sandy beaches, the restaurants are a bit disappointing as they don't seem to offer a lunchtime menu (panini's, sandwiches etc) and the prices aren't particularly cheap with some of the entree's the same price as the main meals.
