The apartment was spacious, high spec and just beautiful. Well stocked with crockery, glasses, cutlery and kitchen aids but unfortunately no freezer. Very comfortable beds.Stunning bathroom. The beach was literally just around the corner and there is an excellent shopping street within a short walking distance. Immediately opposite is a very cosy family run restaurant.
A wonderful apartment in a good location.

This hotel is ideal for those, like us, arriving by ferry, especially late evening. Literally just a minute drive from customs to the hotel door. We have used it several times for this reason. Parking is immediately outside the hotel. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The self-service breakfast is very good as is the food in the restaurant.
This Best Western is located in Ouistreham, 2 km from the ferry terminal and 7 km from Normandy's famous landing beaches. Guests can enjoy the outdoor heated pool.
Located in Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, this seafront hotel offers a restaurant traditional and lounge bar with views of the sea. It has direct access to the beach.

Very comfy beds in a spotlessly clean room. Great breakfast and a delicious dinner and they even made us isle flottant for dessert.
Excellent service and attention to detail, an efficient and friendly team of staff. The sea view was great.
Thalazur Ouistreham is located opposite the sea, 100 metres from the city centre. It offers 4-star accommodation, a thalassotherapie centre, a bar and a restaurant.

Hotel is well located for the beach and car ferry. Hotel room was functional and clean (although see below). This Hotel seems principally used for its Spa Facilities by a predominantly French client base (judging by car registrations in the Hotel Car Park).
Learn some basic French to get you through. The staff in our hotel spoke very little English and many of the restaurants and shops' staff spoke just a few words. Lovely food, but most bars and restaurants closed at 9pm, although we were a little early in the season (May) and this might have been the reason.
We chose this hotel for its location which suited us for our purposes ( travelling around the Normandy Beaches area), the hosts were very kind and nothing was a problem for them if you requested anything. A 3 night stay was very relaxing and enjoyable with lovely restaurants and bars in near walking distance. The breakfast every morning was lovely with plenty of choices and on a buffet type service
This hotel run by a young couple has been modernised to a very high standard. It is within a whisker of the sandy beaches in this part of Normandy, and ideal for anyone wanting to spend the night before taking the ferry to Portsmouth from nearby Ouistreham. Lion-sur-Mer is a family friendly place which makes no great demands, and is ideal for a a low-key holiday by the sea.
This is one of the nicest small hotels we have ever stayed in, lovely. The hosts (owners) were exactly that, very convivial hosts, nothing was too much trouble. There was always a warm welcome and a genuine interest in your experiences of that day, very nice people. The hotel is very clean, efficient and comfortable. If we returned to Normandy we would go there again.
What an amazing small hotel. The room was beautiful, luxurious and so very clean. The sea views out of the large windows was exactly what we wanted and being able to see them from the bathroom as well was an added bonus. Breakfast in the restaurant was perfect, fresh and the view was great. Parking was free and easy to obtain.
We received a very warm welcome from the Patron and he was extremely helpful.
The room was spotlessly clean and so too the en suite shower room.
Very comfortable beds and nice linen.
The hotel is only a mile or two from ferry port at Ouistream and close to D Day beaches.
Great hotel, the hosts were very helpful.
Rooms very clean with everything I needed.
Small bar provided very tasty meals, cooked by owners.
Parking is limited but room for my motorcycle at the front was not a problem.
Newly refurbished small hotel with chic style and great location. Staff helpful and younger people even spoke English :). Breakfast on the terrace (with direct view of the sea) was a great start every day!
A clean, comfortable and well run hotel. Ideally situated for the port and a few minutes walk from the beach.
Helpful, friendly owner. Easy check in. Nice small bar and a good evening meal.
