Stayed here for one night in the lovely little town of Mettray. The Manoir du Rouvre is a 15th century property which is beautiful. The room was spacious, very clean, large comfortable bed and a very large luxurious bathroom. The gardens are fabulous the hosts were great very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was served with local French bread and homemade preserves, tea, coffee, toast, cheese, croissants and a fruit salad which was very enjoyable.

Great place to stop when passing through Tours heading north, you start with the city behind you in the morning. Welcoming staff, comfortable beds and a clean room, we found it to be good value for money.

Great location in center of Tours. Secure bicycle parking in supervised courtyard. Superb staff...very nice! Good room facilities with electric towel warmer.
