Facilities were great our group used the gym, pool and sauna which were clean and well equipped.
We had an evening meal and breakfast during our stay which I thought was quick, tasty and value for money. The staff were a great help and very polite engaging in conversation with us during the stay nothing was a problem for them. Dogs were welcomed and treated like mini guests....even being offered wee treats at breakfast!!! Rooms are little dates in decor but super clean and comfortable for the night.

The staff were amazing - friendly and professional. Room was very clean. Breakfast was fantastic and portions were huge. Although we didn't go in the garden, it looked like a nice place to sit when the sun is shining.

It's hard for me to write these negatives, but it's already caught up with me. My partner and I have been here several times. The apartment is very nice but lacks a lot in terms of cleanliness and supplies. I brought this to the owner's attention, he promised to fix it, but he didn't. We are very sorry, if this doesn't work next time we will try to look for something else. Maybe we'll try to go back and then I'll decide. This time it was really bad. The seat has not been cleaned since last year - ugly big stains. The curtains are covered in white stains - maybe milk? And stocks this time at zero. There was no washing up liquid, no soap, no shampoo, no kitchen roll and to top it off - absolutely no toilet paper. Just nothing. We had to buy everything. The clothes dryer was broken and the shoe rack was also broken. Very sad. We left the apartment with flu and fever because the heating was turned off, the boiler was locked. We bought a small electric heater, but it did not heat the apartment. Very noisy in the bedroom from the fan in the bathroom and through the closed window in the bedroom it was blowing so hard that it lifted the curtain. It was absolutely unbearable. We slept in the living room on a broken and dirty couch. I won't comment on what dirt was under it when we took it apart... :-(

This is a great place but 3 days is about right as many places are either closed or on reduced hours e.g. Captain Cook and Dorman? Museum. I went to Redcar and Saltburn for the other days which were very worthwhile.
The Saltholme nature reserve is a great attraction and caters for young and old alike. The modern visitor centre gives great views of the large reserve and the numerous hides scattered across the enormous site give fantastic views of the many different birds.
The visit to the Transporter visitor centre was fascinating but it would be great if they could repair the Transporter which would be a drawcard for so many people in the UK and beyond.
Public transport is very reliable and frequent and the train travel to the places mentioned above was very cheap and quick.

Spent most of our time at an event at the university so didn't get to see much of Middlesbrough. Lots of places serving food but especially loved The Tea House, Grange Road with its large selection of teas and cakes.
Loved the fountain and light display opposite the Holiday Inn too

On the second evening I stayed at this property the door was physically kicked off the hinges at half 1 in the morning by 3 drug dealers coming to collect an outstanding debt by one of the permanent people who lives there. The door wasn't fixed for 48hrs leaving the place completely open to anyone wanting to gain entry. The place is a dump and without doubt the worst experience i've ever had whilst contracting around the U.K. avoid at all costs.

Location is great for Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, saltburn and North York national park
Overall avoid if you want pretty scenery but practically great for families with asda nearby and all major towns/sites within 10-15 minutes distance
For Muslim visitors: A small masjid only 2 mins walk from the hotel with sisters section and a halal takeaway at 5 mins
Location ideal for exploring the local area. The A19 A174 only a few minutes away by car. Staff nice friendly and helpful. Rooms are on a comparison with Premier Inn. Rooms very clean. On our stay the hotel inn had problems outside their control with the tv signal, asked for a £10 refund(£5) for each night we had no tv, and the money was paid into our account immediately. Our 2nd visit in 2 months. 9/10.
The breakfast fast - timely, healthy, fresh, had a lot of varieties and there was room for more rounds.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. When I had issues with my internet, they were very helpful, even the manager came to assist.
The location - the hotel was right in the centre of town, I had a great view at night.
We were pleasantly surprised how nice this facility was. We were in town for a football match and needed a nice place to stay; this place had everything! Lunch and dinner specials, fancy bar, late breakfast and cozy atmosphere. The staff were great and very accommodating. We’ll def be back next time we’re in Middlesbrough.
The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated throughout.
Amazing attention to detail, providing everything you need for our stay.
It felt like real luxury with the added bonus of a hot tub.
The town centre and retail park were within easy access.
It was a base for our trip, no complaints about the hotel.
The hotel caters for weddings, and there was one after the other, which did not bother us, music was comfortable loud, and with it being a wedding we had no complaints about it.
Really nice Hotel , lovely reception and my Room was comfortable , spacious and clean , nice bar also . a little difficult to find the Hotel , not knowing the area that well , but i did manage .
