Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous part of Ireland. I told the receptionist that it was my special birthday and I got a lovely box of chocolates. They also offered us a complimentary drink. Very nice.

Lovely quite area, very short walk to the town. We had a most comfortable stay. The bed was really comfortable, the room was spacious, with water, teas, coffee all available in the room. We had use of the breakfast room to chill out if we wanted. Breakfast was so good, all our needs were catered, the coffee was spot on. We will for sure be back to stay again, all thanks to amazing hosts.

The property was perfect for our stay of 1 night.Very clean & tidy with secure parking behind gates.
The hosts were friendly & gave recommendations of where to eat.It is a five minute walk into town.
Have a cute dog too.
Would thoroughly recommend Nordav guest house.
I was there to attend a wedding. I did not take a car so I did not see much of Clonakilty itself. I think a car is necessary as it is just outside Clonakilty. I did see the sea and beaches from the taxi and they looked nice.

Fab little town, everything is so close together.
Fab little town, everything is so close together. Really wished we'd stayed longer & are already planning a return in the Summer. Didn't eat in any of the restaurants as we only ate in the hotel but the menus of many of the eateries looked great!

Lovely quaint old world charm town.
Lovely quaint old world charm town. Very colourful and clean. Great selection of shops and information of things to see and do in the area. Take the train for a tour around the town for all ages. Lovely location as a base for exploring deeper into west Cork or just relaxing in one of the many beaches in the area. If you get the weather there is no place to beat this part of Ireland.

Love the town.
Love the town. Lots of nice shops, bars, restaurants, cafés and little markets unique to the town and excellent just to browse around. Lots of little cafés, outdoor seating and well spaced public seats where one can sit and watch the world go by. The locals seem very friendly as do the staff in all the shops we visited. Seem to really take care of their visitors. Town is perfect to stroll around, very clean and brightly well decorated shops.
Public toilet centrally located but unfortunately required coins to operate. These days, many people do not carry coins anymore!
One way traffic system through the main street area - not too busy but could be nicer if pedestrianised.
Staff were excellent, very welcoming and service was very good and fast. Maeve and her colleage (didn't catch her name) were excellent and no request was too much. Lounge was very comfortable and cosy in the evening. Was lovely to be able to relax there with a drink after dinner. Dinner was delicious with large portions and lots of choice. Gluten free options were also available. The hotel has great charm and is within a walking distance of the main street in Clonakilty. Overall a great experience.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Emmet Hotel. The room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The staff were very helpful. There was a lovely girl on reception when we checked in. I can't remember her name but she should be commended for her efforts. She gave us information about the local area which we really appreciated and she was very friendly. We will definitely be back again.
Denis (who ran the restaurant and bar) was outstanding: he even got up very early to open the breakfast room and provide food and drink to us and other guests who needed breakfast at 6:30 in the morning. He was also very helpful with local information. Location was central to the town, so everything was walkable. Parking (on the street) was nearby.
I received an amazing welcome from the lady of the house. She was very friendly and gave me some good tips on places to eat. I was only 4 minutes drive from the town centre and my room was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked. I would recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for a place to Stay near Clonakilty.
The pod was very clean and cosy, tastefully decorated with a really comfortable bed. The shower was excellent as was the location, less than 10 minutes drive from Clonakilty town.A good base for exploring that part of West Cork. The garden was lovely and peaceful. An outdoor table and seating meant you could enjoy the view .A very relaxing place.
As a first time visitor, it was a delight to find the hotel after a day rambling around West Cork. From the lovely receptionists to greet us, to discovering the beautiful gardens and then to enjoying the high quality food, it was first class all the way . One of the best hotels I have stayed in, either in Ireland or abroad.
Lovely stay at the studio cottage just a few minutes outside Clonakilty. Great location for exploring west cork including inchydoney beach nearby.
Studio is impeccably decorated with everything inside great quality including all the cooking utensils you may need.
Lovely hosts including coco the dog.
An absolute gem! Perfect location, very private yet super close to Clonakilty. Spotlessly clean. Very cosy. Sarah Jane was amazing and had all little touches throughout the property including a welcome package with local produce. We already can’t wait to come back and stay again!
The cottage is in the country and it was the perfect place to kick off our Ireland trip. It's a beautiful place and had a super comfortable bed. The drive to get there is worth it. Jean is a very kind host and made us feel welcome.
What an adorable hotel! Everyone who worked there exceeded my expectations. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy. Breakfast was great, fresh water in the room, everything you could need!
I thought the pod was a lovely stay. It had everything we needed inside and had a beautiful outdoor area. The bathroom was also very nice and It had Wi-Fi. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely go back.
I have been to Clonakilty many times but never came across this hotel before. The location is beautiful. All the staff I met on my stay were friendly and welcoming. I will certainly be staying here again.
Nordic Guesthouse is a private house near the centre of Clonakilty. It’s easy to walk into the town centre, for good food and music - for instance, De Barra’s Bar. The hosts are very kind and solicitous.
Lovely quaint hotel. Well located. Lovely view from the window overlooking the square. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had with an excellent gluten free option.
Location next to a cinema is a great attraction and is only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre. Didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food.
Nice property with lovely owners very easy to deal and gave good information about the area including recommendations for the many restaurants near by.
