Really nice place with the most heartwarming welcome.
The place itself was clean and cozy, despite of that we were really unexpected quests and booked our stay at last minute.

This Home was perfect, I was in a great location and the property owner lives in the home next to this one. When we arrived he came out and was very pleasant and said if we need anything at any time to call him. We will definitely book this again!

We just spent our last day in this area and overnight for a morning flight. We drove around the peninsula and took in the ocean and lava fields for the last time. The Bridge between the Continents was very interesting. We loved the city of Keflavik and especially the Dunn Museum cafe. (We got there too late for the museum itself.) We both took advantage of the seafood and were not disappointed. Halibut for me, which was fabulous. My husband had a seafood trio with shrimp and lobster. We both cleaned our plates!

This town has one of the oldest basalt in the iceland.
This town has one of the oldest basalt in the iceland. Yet the town itself is not very interesting. I think that what is lovely about this place is the house where we stayed. A supermarket is not far, and it's very well connected to the airport and also Reykjavik if you are arriving there.
The Viking museum is nearby and worth for a visit.

The town itself , doesn't offer too much.
The town itself , doesn't offer too much. We were there as it was close to the airport. As a birding photographer I thought the area would be much richer, but not so much. It's very near from Keflavik airport and town.
There's a viking museum to enjoy in the nearby.
