We love Bardolino, having visited here several times.
We love Bardolino, having visited here several times. When it's warm enough, we love swimming and boating on the lake. We also love sitting in the outdoor cafes at the ferry boat dock watching people and the ferries come and go. The grocery store and gas station across the street from City B Hotel were an extra perk.

Bardolino is one of the larger towns on lake Garda.
Bardolino is one of the larger towns on lake Garda. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from, all in a lakeside location with restricted vehicle access. We took a ferry to Sirmione which a lot of people seem to be impressed with but we thought it felt a bit cramped and crowded compared to Bardolino and not any nicer despite the big castle. We also visited Garda, Cisano and Lazise but prefer Bardolino as a place to stay. It has wide open views of the lake and plenty to offer.

Transport hub for the Ferry services and has a fantastic array of shops and restaurants. Plenty of supermarkets and local produce outlets. I wish I wasn’t so positive about the place because it will attract more people 😂.

Great place for shopping with lots of interesting bars and...
Great place for shopping with lots of interesting bars and restaurants, although sometimes they are quite aggressive while trying to convince you to eat at their restaurant. Also, you have to pay "coperta" at most restaurants which basically means you pay a couple of Euros for the privilege of using a knife, fork and serviette which is something that always annoys me. The bus service in Bardolino is great and not expensive. You can also travel to just about anywhere on the Garda Lake by boat which can get a little expensive but is usually worth it.
One thing that annoyed me is the increased amount of E-bikes in the town because the cyclists seem to have a hard time pushing their bikes, preferring to snake their way through the crowds and generally causing a nuisance.
The room was of a good size and clean. The decore of the hotel is welcoming an quite different, we really liked it. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely and had plenty of choice of savoury and sweet. The location is not central to Bardolino but town centre can be reached with an easy 10 minutes walk. The car park is free, not very big but it accommodates plenty of customers cars. Would definitely return.
This apartment goes for less than most hotels in Bardolino and offers all amenities except toiletries. The location is ideal to walk easily to the town and be on the main road. The host, Laura, is very nice and helpful and lives close by. Of course this is not a hotel so there are no hotel like services like daily room cleaning and reception.
The rooms at Bardoliners are exceptional and the staff are very friendly. We were greeted by the staff and shown our room which was very comfortable with very nice amenities.
The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is right in the heart of the old town, so shopping and great restaurants are close by. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Everything - location is the best in Bardolino, right at the lake with access to a beach park with sunbeds. The walk to the ferry and town centre is along a beautiful boardwalk with benches and beautiful flowerbeds. It is about 10 minutes walk (maximum) to the main bus stop with regular access to other towns on the lake.
Hotel Villa Katy has a stunning terrace where breakfast is served , this is open all day so you can relax and take in the beautiful lake views. Breakfast had very good selection. Rooms modernly styled and clean. we received amazing service from Silvia and Sonia. all round an amazing stay. thank you
We had a wonderful stay in Bardolino. The apartment is very cosy, well equipped and the location is perfect, right at the lake and only a 15-minute walk to the center of beautiful Bardolino. Giulia gave us a very warm welcome and some really good suggestions for activities in the area.
The apartment was great, Sergio was really friendly and helpful. Garden was beautiful. You could walk to Bardolino but Cisano is closer so handy for buses and ferries too. Good base for exploring the lake
The staff were very friendly, and when we arrived they upgraded our room to one with a view to the front of the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located for a stroll into Bardolino and is in a quiet area.
Nice suite, some of the breakfast service staff and the service team at the pool bar are very nice and friendly, hotel garden and pools are very nice, walking distance to the lake and Bardolino city.
We had the apartment with the lake view. To be honest, we needed nothing else but having breakfast and watching boats on the lake or having a glass of wine in the evening and watching the sunset.
Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. Service and food in the restaurant was good and the hotel was situated close to Bardolino centre, that is within easy walking distance.
