This property, having been a hotel since 1896, comes with a few eccentricities that make it all the more endearing.
Having now stayed here 3 separate times, twice with groups we were responsible for, it was fun to hear a multitude of reflections. The rooms vary in style but all retained character worthy of writing home about. Many of the rooms had a loft bed overlooking the main body of the room and many enjoyed this. The suites were generous with outstanding views of Bosa's colorful hillside and the river Temo. The breakfast presentation was super and the onsite restaurant was also very good. In addition, I thank Sabrina, the owner, for organizing an outstanding staff. Andrea in the restaurant, Sylvia and Allissandro at the front desk, Vanessa and the chef at breakfast are all five star additions to Palazzo Pichedda.
Thank you so very much.

This property was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was most gracious and helpful. We will return.
This small and elegant hotel is set on the bank of the River Temo in the heart of the medieval town of Bosa. It offers comfortable accommodations and unforgettable views.
This charming 3-star hotel is in a quiet, tranquil location on the tree-lined Viale Alghero, just half a mile from the sea and just over a quarter mile from the historic center of Bosa.

Bosa is within 75 minutes of Alghero airport by bus (beautiful, high, coastal route, check times via google, two or three a day, fare E4.30). and is a lovely town, well worth a visit. In my case, it was an ideal first destination in Sardinia, then pleasant to spend some time in Alghero for a few days before going home, a pleasing contrast indeed. And wonderful Sardinian hospitality thoughout.

Beautiful town, many colorful and atmospheric old streets to wander around. Like most of Italy, very hilly, especially the climb up to the castle. Worth walking out to Bosa Marina and out to some of the churches in the countryside. Easy access by bus to other Sardinian towns.

If staying in the historic old town, bear in mind you will have to park a car outside the main town and walk in with luggage. The cobbles make it quite tough to wheel suitcases along so backpacks are better.
Bosa town is very picturesque with lovely restaurants, cafes and a friendly vibe. The marina area is about a half hour walk from the historic part of town if you want to swim in the sea. The beach is beautiful, crystal clear water and plenty of sunbeds for hire. Also a good selection of restaurants by the beach.

Nice historic town, good food, good position to explore Sardinia from. Has supermarkets, car washes, gas pumps. The view from the castle is really nice.
If you decide to stay here you need to check out Civico Uno pizzeria.

Unique charm with narrow streets and friendly, helpful people. It is not too busy, but has wonderful restaurants and cafes. It's easy to walk around as many streets are pedestrianised. You can park free 24 hours on white lines. So glad we came here, would definitely visit again. We ate at the wonderful restaurant at our hotel - Locando di Corte. Also recommend restaurants Alduccio al Painificio and Ristorante Borgo S.Ignazio. Aperitifs at Zio Elio Osteria Antica di Vino - near the riverside in a quiet street - the host is wonderful.
A nice room with a renewed bathroom - huge shower, hot water. Sufficient breakfast: typical Italian, cakes and toast, but the host offers a plate of ham and cheese if you'd like that. Coffee, tea, water available non stop. The balcony seen on the photos belongs to the dining area. Quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of Bosa. Close to the sea, but the nearest beach is far from nice. If you've got a car, getting to more attractive beaches shouldn't be a problem. The host is friendly and helpful, seamless communication.
Gorgeous traditional little townhouse in the Centro historico, restored with all its soul intact. Loved the vaulted stone ceiling, the colours, unique vintage pieces and design choices that mirrored the beauty of Bosa itself. The rooftop terrace had a great view of Bosa, we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there chatting to other guests and Sebastiano. Sebastiano was a great host and his little booklet guide to Bosa was fun to read and very useful for sightseeing and restaurants. parking was also not far away.
This was a room full of history and character that dates back to 12th century. The ensuite room was very comfortable and the added bonus of a fabulous roof terrace with views over Bosa and up to the castle. The host was so welcoming and friendly, greeting us. He talked us through some of the history of the building and town. We also had dinner that night in the adjoins restaurant, and had a fabulous meal. Such an enjoyable stay, we wish we could have stayed longer.
Casa Pagiò is like a dream come true.. Paolo and Sergio are kind, warm, welcoming hosts who are enthusiastic about Bosa and surrounding areas. Located on an idyllic street, renovated with care to every detail, like a pull down bug screen in the window and tasteful terrazzo in the bathroom. In the morning we were greeted with a huge breakfast spread with warm homemade orange cake.. I could go on.. but I would come back to Bosa just to stay here again.
We loved our stay at Hotel Baja Romantica and were so glad we stayed in this area rather than in Bosa town. The room and terrace were huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional, something we did not expect in times of Covid-19. The staff at the reception area were wonderful and so helpful. Thanks to their recommendations we had the best dinner experiences in our two-week stay in Sardinia. Would definitely recommend!
We liked the friendly owners Antonella and Pietro, our room, the beautiful and very tasteful decorations, the great renovation done on this building, the coffee place for breakfast, the bed, the calm, the Malvasia Spritz below the castle, Bosa ... everything really. We will not hesitate to go back there whenever in Bosa again. We can only recommend Antonella's and Pietro's hotel.
Thank you for your kindness !!!
The apartment is beautifully decorated and located in the historic and ancient city of Bosa. It has all of the comforts for a family stay and a well-stocked kitchen with high quality appliances. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are functional. The overall design is nice and the artwork inside is stunning. The owners are very accommodating and clearly want to offer something special to guests.
We loved everything about this place. It was even better than we expected. The property is in a cute little street in the heart of Bosa. Staff was super pleasant and helpful with lots of tips what to see and where to eat. Room was spaceous, very clean and comfy. The rooftoop terrace with a castleview was a cherry on top. This was one of the best stays in Sardinia for sure. Hope we can return one day.
Very central to the town, with amazing views of Bosa. The hotel was modern, clean with amazing facilities. The restaurant is beautiful and food was amazing. The hotel owner was always present and very helpful. She was extremely professional and gave us great recommendations. She gave us a free upgrade to a beautiful room. Free parking was available across the street.
Th location was excellent. Very central to Bosa town and the marina too. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was very powerful and quiet enough to leave on at night time. There was a very powerful shower too. Easy contactless check in and check out was also easy to follow.
We absolutely loved our stay in Bosa! Giuseppe was a wonderful guest, we are so grateful for all his help and kindness during our stay. The rooftop terrace has epic views. The room is spacious, clean and well organized. The whole experience was superb and we would definitely stay again. Grazie mille!
The location was great & the self service hotel is fantastic as you can cook your own meals. The check with hosts was fantastic, they were very helpful. They left lovely breakfast snacks. Overall, I would recommend this place when visiting Bosa.
Fantastic panoramic position, from the terrace you can enjoy an excellent view over the whole Bosa. In the rooms, colorful and well-kept in detail, there is everything you need for a perfect stay. Sebastiano is very helpful and friendly host!
Perfect hotel for exploring the beautiful town of Bosa. Our room was comfortable and quiet and we had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was excellent and we had some of the best cappuccino during our entire trip to Sardinia
New! Clean! Beautiful! Comfortable! Well located! Gourmet breakfast prepared with fresh ingredients from their garden. The owners are fantastic. A lovely experience. I wouldn’t trade Vaarak for any other 5 stars hotel.
A beautiful hotel in a great location. Francesco looked after us so well and have gave great tips for good restaurants. Comfortable room with a balcony to sit on.
The host was very friendly.
The room was simple but good. Had everything we need for 1 night.
Bosa is wonderful!
Breakfast was Italian style in a nice coffee.
