Easy to find in the centre of a small village. The staff speak good English and are very knowledgable of the local area. Great location to explore “Little Switzerland”. Rooms are very large, comfortable, clean and well appointed. The food in the restaurant is excellent and well priced. Breakfast is included in the price and is also excellent.

3 minutes walk from the trail. Warm, well-preserved 70s deco. The room was very clean and not noisy, even though facing the road. Extra point for a nice mirror and light in the toilet for the makeup. We had a nice little balcony. Excellent breakfast and they let you fill your water bottle there as well. Dinner was delicious in southern European style, and the wine was quite good. Extremely lovely and polite staff, particularly the receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. This place was better than I expected from the reviews.

Good location for hiking and the bus.
Pleasant man.
Good coffee.
Asian restaurant nearby with bus.
Great place for a short hiking/relaxing trip.
The paths are perfectly sign-posted and there are so many to choose from. Easy to get around, and having free public transport makes it even easier to get around.

Beautiful gem in Luxemburg.
Beautiful gem in Luxemburg. Tiny, narrow streets of old town are astonishing. Colorful, clean, plenty of flowers. A place to enjoy. Parking is free from 6pm to 8 pm. Supermarket Cactus in walking distance from the old town.

We loved Echternach and will definitely return.
We loved Echternach and will definitely return. A recommendation for a 3 course meal is 11 euros at the youth hostel at lunchtime. Delicious! The town is a good base to discover Eastern Luxembourg from. Buses cost 2 euros per trip. The Abbey and roman villa are worth visiting.

It is a quiet, relaxed city with some good (Asian) restaurants. I think Echternach is the perfect hub for hiking or biking in the Mullerthal. There are possibilities to go out on sightseeing as well to Vianden, Luxemburg City, etc.

Great spot for walking the Mullerthal Trail.
Great spot for walking the Mullerthal Trail. Some beautiful, historic sites in this small town, which we toured in the afternoon after doing a 12 km trail walk. We visited Echternach for 2 nights as part of a week-long trip that included Brussels, Waterloo, Luxembourg City, and Trier. We visited WWII sites (foxholes in Foy and the American Cemetary in Luxembourg) on our drive back to Brussels airport via Bastogne. A very satisfying trip.
We loved everything about our stay here: The large room with its gracious windows overlooking Echternach’s charming square. The comfortable beds. The excellent breakfast. And the cafe that fronts the hotel is also a great asset. We enjoyed a couple of good meals there. The hotel is only a short walk from the central bus station (where you’re connected to Luxembourg’s excellent and free bus network.)
Hotel located right in the centre of Echternach! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Dinner was of a high quality. Breakfast was still Covid individual style but met all expectations. Coffee was perfect! The bathroom was recently refurbished and of perfect design with a walk in shower. This family-run hotel provides a true holiday feel for a short break.
The location is really marvelous! In the morning, we enjoyed a buffet breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the lake and the town of Echternach. The sports infrastructure is also worth mentioning. If you would like to dine in the hotel, it is recommended to make a reservation on beforehand, but there are also restaurants in the neighborhood.
great hosts - Paul & Julie were the nicest and most accomodating hosts. went our of their way to meet all our needs.
location - out in the countryside a couple miles outside Echternach - very quiet...easy to get to anywhere in Luxembourg
parking - plenty of space
bed - very comfortable
cleanliness - exceptional
The hotel is directly on the pedestrian market area of the the down town and very convenient to dinning and shops. we stayed there for three nights while walking the mullerthal trail and left our larger bags with them while we hiked. it was very convenient in that respect. The breakfast was included and adequate.
Very friendly hosts, they were attentive to every need. Breakfast was amazing, very healthy and fresh. Aside from the noise other guests made, the room was very quiet as the location is very secluded. Echternach was only 40 minutes walking and Osweiler less than 20. It was a great starting point for hiking.
It was a nicely-sized hotel. Staff was easily approachable, though often busy doing other things. The rooms were very clean & tidy. Second time around they made a gluten-free breakfast, which was previously announced, but exceeded our expectations in terms of size. :)
Recently renovated hotel, pleasant atmostphere, very comfortable shower and bed, spacious room, the perfect place to stay after two long days of running the Müllerthal Trail. Very nice lady who even dried our shoes for us. And the breakfast was also very good.
Wellness-facilities are very clear & nice. Its location and the spacious terrace has a very nice view on the valley. On a sunny morning some breakfast or coffee up there is just lovely.
In the morning do a few runs around Lake Echternach before breakfast!
Loved the welcoming and friendly staff, each and every one of them. Absolutely gorgeous facilities including the wellness. Super clean. And an awesome property located in a wonderful area. Peaceful and elegant hotel.
Nice location, very close to the lake and within walking distance to the historical centre of Echternach.
Free parking near the hostel, great place to start a few days hiking on the Mullerthaltrail.
The good location: a 10 minute walk from the Gare Central in Echternach. Nice dinner in the evening. Clean rooms with toilet and shower. Very friendly staff. I had the room to myself for 3 nights.
Quaint little hotel right smack in the middle of the old town. Close to amenities, restaurants and the nice park/river that is the border of Germany and Luxembourg.
The location, opposite the main square of Echternach, is perfect. The receptionist was charming and welcoming. My bedroom was quiet, although without a view.
