Great location - not too far from city centre though it is up a mountain so walking down is nice, but you may want to take the bus back up! Staff are great, rooms are great, location amazing. Top marks all round!

The room and facilities were brilliant. Breakfast was excellent. If ever in Linz again, this would be my first choice.

Family-run since 1877, the traditional Gasthof Rothmayr is located directly at the Danube River and with direct access from the B129, less than 2 km from the main square of Linz. The Staff is just wonderful — nice and thoughtful. The chef was kind to make my best salad in the world, and Anita at the reception was very kind :). I don’t really understand why that was the cheapest hotel in a 70 km radius. this hotel is more a boutique hotel, than a 2-star hotel. Much recommended!
