I was in Rio de Janeiro for a week and wanted a place not too expensive, from where I could visit the city : it's near the Lapa neighborhood who's a place to see, there are groceries and restaurants nearby, etc. And for the most touristic places of the city, I went by taxi. I also wanted a place where I could have some calm for working on my computer : I stayed many afternoon on the balcony, it was perfect, sunny but not to hot and really quiet (as for the nights). The owner is really nice and makes you feel at home. For me, it's a great place for backpackers with low budget who wants to visit Rio and stay in a less-touristic area than Copacabana.

Selina Rio har en solterrass med stadsutsikt och ligger i det trendiga området Lapa i Rio de Janeiro, 200 meter från Santa Teresa. Här finns en trevlig restaurang och ett kafé. Det var ett fint hostel, vi bodde i tvåbäddsrum men kunde nyttja de faciliteter som finns på ett hostel, såsom kök, bar, möjlighet att träffa andra etc. Det bjöds på välkommen drink varje kväll och det var roligt att möta andra resenärer. Rummen var fräscha och det blev förvånandsvärt tyst på natten.

The room is really comfort, thr staff are so friendly and helpful..i travel alone and i needed to do the chack out lately then the official time...and they approve me to do the chack out more late for free cause the hotel was not full...really appreciate it...thanks!

Vila Gale ligger mitt i i Rio de Janeiros centrum. Här finns en utomhuspool. Hotellet har ett komplett hälsocenter, och det finns också en restaurang och bar. Gratis WiFi finns också. this was an absolute find. beautiful hotel & facilities with the best breakfast I’ve had anywhere. the selection was huge. the value for money was by far the best we’ve experienced & I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Hotel Carioca ligger i distriktet Lapa i Rio de Janeiro, 6 minuters bilresa från flygplatsen Santos Dumont. WiFi är gratis. Arcos da Lapa ligger 500 meter bort. Our room was on the top floor and we had fantastic view Breakfast was good Located in the central area, so you can just cross the street to get a party. Although it could be loud on weekends

Detta hotell ligger 2 km från Rio de Janeiros kommersiella centrum och 3 km från Flamengo-stranden. Restaurangen serverar en daglig frukostbuffé. Location is awesome, Saturdays can be light due to the weekend movida but also cool because out of the fire you have the Rio nightlife. Breakfast is awesome.

I came during the carnaval period unprepared and had best time among all the trips I've done in my life. And all this thanks to Thiago.

Américas Granada Hotel ligger i Rio de Janeiro och har en restaurang, en utomhuspool, ett fitnesscenter och en bar. Receptionen är öppen dygnet runt och rumsservice samt gratis WiFi erbjuds. Staff were super friendly and service was great except when the pool bar is open it is almost impossible to get anything from the restaurant. It took 40min to get a Coca Cola up from the downstairs restaurant. They should just say “no service at the pool” and I would’ve got it myself. Other than that a great value stay.

Hotel Monte Alegre erbjuder prisvärt boende nära den populära stadsdelen Lapa i centrala Rio de Janeiro. Du tar dig enkelt till museer, teatrar och andra sevärdheter. Perfectly located in the heart of the City! The staff was very welcoming. Everyone was busy during check in and the entire staff was cool and calm.
