The customer service was SUPERB! Christina was amazing! We are Americans and don’t speak a lick of Portuguese and although her English wasn’t strong either, (but it’s 2023 and phones and google exist) so that wasn’t a problem AT ALL. She made sure we comfortable and had fun. She checked on us regularly. The location is safe and is in walking distance of great food, bars and shopping. I kinda didn’t want to do a review because I wanted to keep this hidden gem to myself, but Chris deserves all the raving reviews she can get. Thank you so much for making our Rio experience so amazing!

The hotel was fabulous and exquisitely refurbished (like, straight out of a design magazine) , with a beautiful garden full of exotic birds and a beautiful swimming pool. If that wasn’t enough what makes it even more special is the staff; everyone is so very kind and polite and genuinely friendly. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and accommodate your every request. They make you feel very well looked after and as if you were visiting friends (rather than staying at an hotel). They anticipate your very need before you even tell them! I felt very comfortable and at ease and loved staying there!

Tião Botelho Guest House in Rio de Janeiro provides adults only accommodations with a garden, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. Moreover, the host was extremely friendly and very eager to help, advise or give recommendations. Would definitely book the accommodation if traveling to Rio again!

Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. clean and location was great, next to the hustle and bustle of the city. staff super friendly and helpful and breakfast was great and a lot of options

Located in Rio de Janeiro, Lobie Armazém São Joaquim has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. I just loved staying right by the carnival blocks! Awesome neighborhood, the bars, the food, the comfort of the room... flawless.

Viña Del Mar offers accommodations in the artistic Arco da Lapa district. It is just over half a mile from the Flamenco Beachfront, and minutes from the Cinelândia Metro Station. Fantastic hotel, perfect breakfast and professional staff☀️✌️🌴🔥

Rio de Janeiro’s historic and cultural neighborhood of Lapa is just steps away at the Hotel Americano. All rooms provide air conditioning and cable TV. Free parking is available. My room was large and my bathroom had been newly renovated and had a large jacuzzi. I also had a small entrance room that had a fridge and computer table. I was comfortable and overall enjoyed my stay. The location is relatively central although you do have to walk a bit to the metro.
