Morro da Urca Rock stands behind this stylish guest house, located only 500 metres from Praia Vermelha and Praia da Urca beaches. It boasts panoramic sea views from its sun terrace and pool. The place is really well situated on a safer and quieter neighbourhood of Rio, but the view from the pool is unmatched. The breakfast is incredible and a good way to discover the brazilian food, everything is home made. You have a pharmacy, a bakery and a restaurant in 50m radius and you can enjoy a beer in the mureta :) highly recommended I much preferred this side of Rio compared to my other accomodation in Copacabana. For the sailors the iate club is just walking distance :)

The bed was comfortable, the apartment is rather bright (especially for being surrounded by tall buildings), it's not too noisy, and it's very close to Urca and Praia Vermelha, beautiful areas.

The location is extraordinary. Short walk to small grocery store, restaurants, beach, and cable car to sugarloaf mountain. Room was clean, with great shower, and small kitchenette. Bed was big and comfortable. Eduardo talked with us through booking.com messages while we were traveling to the property. He was there to meet us and show us how to get in the unit. He was super nice, his English was very good, and he had great recommendation about the local area. The pictures show a couple of meals we had just a short walk from the property. The sunset picture over my partner's shoulder shows the view from across the street outside the property (I was not expecting that view... it is stunning). The last photo shows the view on top of sugarloaf mountain which is very close to the property. Well worth the money.
